Determined not to ruin his brother's wedding, Dexter strikes a deal with the frustratingly

As I was browsing through my kindle and trying to decide what to read next, I knew I wanted something light and sweet and Wife for the Weekend instantly grabbed my attention on how cute the cover was. As I dove into reading this story, I was instantly smitten with this light drama free sweet romantic read!!! Ophelia London has managed to charm me with her cute romantic tale of two old acquaintances who had one drunken night together and

Wife for the Weekend sees us return to the delicious town of Hershey, via Vegas. This time around it's Dexter Elliott's turn to be tangled up, and the lady doing so is free-spirited artist, Jules Bloom.

Ophelia London wrote the first book I ever read from the Bliss imprint and with an engaging writing style which holds charm, strong character development, romantic story-lines and humour, her stories have always captivated and kept me returning to her for more. I really enjoyed Dex and Jules

I always love a little fluff to read as a palate cleanser and this was just the thing.

I liked Jules and Dexter. They're so completely oppose that it was fun to see them try to figure out a story to tell everyone. They kept coming up with the most ridiculous things, it was pretty amusing.

There was just a touch of angst and while I would have liked I bit more of a spark romance wise, the story was super cute.

This book was so cute! I am always on the look out for good Fake Relationship stories and Wife for the Weekend is one of the best I’ve read in awhile. It incorporated a lot of the uncomfortable (but humorous) moments between Jules and Dexter and the people they’re trying to fool that I look for in this type of story. And of course, while they’re working on fooling everybody else, they start to fool themselves. I really

4 shoopy stars!

This is the third book in Ophelia London's (series Sugar City) and I hope it's not the last because I would really want to read about the other brothers.

Wife for the Weekend is the story of Dex Elliott, the successful workaholic manwhore and his brother's ex girlfriend, Jules Bloom aka Shoopy.

One night of frustration because of a delayed flight.

One night of a mysterious drink.

One night of reckless decisions.

One morning with nothing but a wedding band and a hang-over.

When Jules and Dexter accidentally end up married, they try to make the best of it and they each have something to gain from this little arrangement. Once the knot is tied, their "relationship" is pretty much all physical, but as they are forced to spend time together to keep up the charade and really get to know each other, a deeper connection is forged. I liked seeing their selfish shells being shed to allow compassion, tenderness, and softness to emerge to smooth those rough edges on each of ...more

Wife for the Weekend was such sweet and hilarious book to read. Having read London's previous works before, I was excited to read yet another story by her.

In this particular story we get to meet Jules Bloom, a free-spirited artist whose friend/ex is about to get married and as his friend she has accepted the invitation to go to his wedding. But on the way there, her flight gets canceled and she accidentally bumps into the groom's brother,

I truly truly loved this story. Jules had me laughing and smiling from the very beginning. She was quirky, free spirited, charming, sweet, funny and feisty. Dexter was a workaholic man genuinely drawn to Jules after getting reacquainted with her. I loved the friendship that they forged, as well as their flirtations. The family scenes they had with the Elliott family were hilarious. Jules was witty, sarcastic and sharp.

But through the angst portion of the story, I could feel my heart race and

Flight Canceled. Ugh, not what you want to see when you're not fully looking forward to the trip to begin with. This just delays the inevitable. But, what can you do?

When Jules goes to leave the airport, as she lives there in Vegas, she has a mishap involving a disgruntled fellow waiting traveler. It just so happens, after they untangle themselves, they realize they know each other. Jules "dated" Dexter's brother, Vince, when they were fifteen, but above all else her and Vince were, and still

Eek, this book was so sweet and charming!! Seriously, I suspected it might be from the cute cover and the fun blurb, but it really was just a light, quick and swoony romance—kinda perfect to while away a lazy Saturday afternoon.

Wife for the Weekend may not have been anything overly ground-breaking, but it was flirty and all kinds of adorable. And funny—very, very funny. I laughed-out-loud on several occasions early on in the book, and although the humor trailed off somewhat as the book

If you are after the perfect easy weekend read then look no further than Wife for The Weekend. Ophelia London has once again knocked it out of the park with this book. It’s a fun light read that will have you falling for Jules and Dex before the end of the first chapter. I know I did.

Take one free spirit, one uptight workaholic add in a flight delay and a potent cocktail and what do you get? Married !!!!

That’s right, the two people most opposed to marriage end up doing just that. But when the

The description sounded interesting and coupled with Entangled Publishing and Ophelia's name ... I definitely wanted to read the book.

This book was way better than what I expected. I absolutely enjoyed the way Dexter and Jules bump into each other at the airport and their morning after. Dexter and Jules were hilarious for most part and their banters and teasings was too good!

The way Jules and Dexter looked out for one another and understood each other was great ... one could see their

Loved this one! This is such a beautiful sweet read and the relationship between the carefree Jules and buttoned up Dexter just made me chuckle. Both Jules and Dexter are trying to get to Hersey to attend Dexter's brothers wedding. When bad weather strikes though they find themselves stranded in Vegas for the night. A couple of pitchers of a bartenders special concoction and a wedding chapel later, they find themselves in bed together - Married!!

I enjoyed the story line, the writing style and the characters. Great setting. The relationship started off purely physical but evolved into more as these characters let down their walls and let the other into their heart.

Since this is a Bliss title there is no sex scene but it is definitely implied. With no on screen sex this is considered clean by some but has too much language, innuendo and talk of sex to be considered clean in my book.

Wife for the Weekend was a fun and entertaining read.

I really enjoyed watching Dexter and Jules relationship develop. They were total opposites in every way but together they just worked. I loved how Dex was when Jules was around, he was a totally different man and imo a much more likable one as well lol
Jules was a fun & cool girl, she loved with all her heart and tried not to let anything negative touch her soul, loved her.

Cute and fun take on the whole opposites attract story. Dax and Jules go from Vegas to a magic cottage and find a way to see how they really feel in between. I thought this story was well conceived and executed. There are plenty of details that helped develop this world and storyline, such as the Mom putting chocolate into everything to be fitting with the town of Hersey. Jules was my favorite, especially how her character and trust of self, talent and love progressed. I do wish more background ...more

Ophelia London did it again with a fun lighthearted sweet book in this series.Derek and Jules will tug at your heart and have you smiling throughout this book. I loved how they seemed like opposites-free spirit and one serious but underneath it all they were the same on the inside. Dexter’s family is a hoot and so noisy. they didn’t let them be it was hysterical.

When we meet these two both are allergic to marriage and love. Dexter feel’s it is a waste of time that he doesn’t have because he

This is the third in a series and I haven't read any of the previous books, I felt this could easily be read as a stand-alone novel.

Jules Bloom tends to take the laid back approach to life, never taking anything in life too seriously, or making the mistake of tying herself down to anything permanent...including men! She prefers to spend her days expressing herself through her artwork and painting beautiful creations, one blissful brushstroke at a time. The idea of being tied down to a desk in a stuffy corporate office is completely unsettling to her, and she just can't fathom why anyone would want to do that to themselves, ...more

This is a cute, quick, and entertaining read. Hey, it’s about a Vegas wedding. How could it not be quick?

Dexter Elliott is the player of the Elliott brothers. Everyone knows it. He’s very careful to maintain that image. He’s cultivated it well and while it may be embellished somewhat, he’s not about to expose that fact. He’s in Vegas for his brother’s bachelor party. When everyone else decides to leave, Dex stays an extra day. He needs the time to work on his latest project, time away from the

Ophelia London always gives us a sweet, sexy read with lots of humor and heartache. This one was no different. I loved Jules and Dexter's story. Another great read from Ophelia London!

Jules can just go back home and catch her flight the next day, but when Dexter is making his way back away from the ticket counter, he literally bumps into Jules. Bliss books are always very sweet and this one is no exception. It's a get drunk in Vegas and wake up married kinda story. But the interesting part is when they decide to stay married for the weekend, each for their own reasons.

I liked Dexter though his name isn't by favorite. He's a bit mysterious about his business dealings and his relationship with his father is troubled. Wanting very much to be successful on his own, he's set himself up to succeed or really fail. He's a techy kinda guy with

Ophelia London is one of the crowned queens of light, contemporary romances of Entangled Publishing. This is one of a few of her books I have devoured and I loved this one just as much as all the rest.

Jules Bloom is an artist, who would much rather paint a picture or take a yoga class than devote herself to the Man. Dexter is a overworked businessman with no time for love. This is where the two characters find themselves when they are stranded at a Vegas airport due to weather. After meeting

Wow. I loved it. I really love stories about fake relationships that don't turn out to be so fake in the end. From the synopsis we know that Jules and Dexter run into each other at an airport in Las Vegas after their flight gets canceled. They get drunk and end up getting married. Since they are both headed to the same wedding, they decide to stick with the charade of being a happily married couple so they don't ruin the

This is a cute, super-sweet romance. Dexter and Jules (Juliet) are long time family friends that meet up after not seeing each other for years during a delayed flight back home for the same wedding. A lot of drinks and a passionate kiss in a limo later and the two wake up in bed the next morning with no recollection of how they ended up with matching gold rings on their left hands.

This is an Entangled Bliss novel, so you know it is going to be a lighthearted romance. I liked the story - the only thing that downgraded it for me was that I thought both Juliet ("Jules") and Dexter ("Dex") were a little overdramatic when things got tough and Dex was a little too dense for me at times when he could be so insightful at other times.

This is part of the Sugar City series, but can be read as a stand alone. Juliet is headed to her best friend's (and ex-boyfriend) wedding when she

A sweet and lovely read.

In this one we have Jules and Dexter getting stuck in Las Vegas for the night, due to bad weather. They are both heading to the same wedding (her best friend, who’s Dexter’s brother), so getting together is not the best idea… unless you include alcohol, lol.

Anyway, they arrive at the wedding married and now have to pretend it wasn’t an accident in front of his family. From there, what follows is a war between their attraction and trying to convince themselves
