Another instalment with Roz and Mick.

I was glad that Besty finally got what she deserved and all the loose ends were tied up from book 3.

Although I found the book an entertaining read I was disappointed that the children, in particularly Joey is still acting like a toddler who needs his dad's attention every second. For him to resent his dad because he put's wife before him is ridiculous to me. I am getting sick of his grown up children not getting on board with their dad and moving forward. Plus the Ty element, please???

I did not enjoy this book as much, I felt the inside job angle was not as engaging as when outside forces are trying to destroy them. This is the first time I have ever felt that something was missing from one of her Mafia stories. However, it is still worth a read.

Mick Sinatra aka Mick the Tick, is definitely a complicated, hard, ruthless man and leader of the syndicated world. But he is also a husband and a father, that will strike you down where you stand and will wipe you off the face of the earth as if you never existed.

Mob Boss Mick, is running his empire, loving his wife, being a father to his newborn twins and learning to be a father to his adult children but what happens when one goes missing and the finger is pointed at his wife as being the culprit behind it? One thing you don't ever make a mistake and do is accuse his wife Rosalind of anything because he knows her but the race is on to save his daughter Gloria who has been kidnapped and there are no leads except for a tape with a confession, that makes absolutely no sense.

Teddy Sinatra, Mick's oldest is now his enforcer you may think that Teddy's foray into the underworld just started but it hasn't. Teddy has been down for a good minute, but now he is going to learn the way from his dad Mick, who will not coddle him or allow him any favors. No Teddy is not there of being a total savage yet like his dad but he is on his way.

Gloria, is Mick's second oldest and she is just a young woman desperate for her father's attention and because she is not getting it from him, she is intent on dating these loser men who mean her no good and she gets caught up in their nonsense. She work's for her dad too but in his corporation, she is getting no favors, she is learning the ropes just like everyone else. And she is missing.

Joey Sinatra, the baby of the adult children struggles the hardest because he is the most sensitive. Mick is still learning this with Roz help of course but its going to take a lot for these two to finally get together. Joey just want his dad love and affection, Mick for so long has never had his emotions on display before is still struggling with that, he only shows Roz but in the very privacy of their own home. Joey loves Roz very much but he also sees her as an obstacle for his dad's love.

When their is a crisis either one or the other happens in families, they come together or they fracture. This is what is happening in the Sinatra household, Mick has not only laid down the law concerning his family and home but he is the law. Roz found that out the hard way (she can be so stubborn at times but I love her LOL!!!). Teddy is learning (he's very intriguing and can't wait to learn more about him). Gloria need to love herself and know her self worth. Joey needs affection because that's just who he is.

In this latest story, you will see the ruthlessness of Mick the Tick and I got to tell you, I don't think Reno, Sal or Tommy and I know Mick's big brother Charles don't have the type of savagery, that lives in Mick. Mick protects his own and his loved ones, that is who he is and doesn't apologize for it. But he now has an enemy who has figured out his Achilles heel and that will most likely unleash an even further side to Mick, that no one could have ever anticipated existed.

Fantastic continuation of the Sinatra series, its full of action, suspense, love, passion and murder.

Keep 'em coming Ms. Monroe!

I read a critical review of this book (the day it was released) describing it as "a repetitive, predictable" carbon copy of the Gabrini mob series. I love the Gabrinis too--primarily because I've "known" them longer (lol).

Obviously, there are similar themes and situations in both series but Ms. Monroe does an excellent job of creating characters who have distinctly different personalities. The familial and relationship issues that she writes about are universal! Of course, given the fact that the Gabrinis and Sinatras are connected, not just by blood but by the drama and constant trouble because of that connection, there will sometimes be what looks like "repetition." I thought that this book had several twists that were ANYTHING but "predicable!" Roz and Mick continue to grow as a couple and though the relationship with two of his grown children took a (temporary, I'm sure) turn for the worst, the book was EVERYTHING that fans of Ms. Monroe have come to expect: PREDICTABLY GOOD!!

If you know Mallory Monroe's books, then you know this book. That said, it's a good read with a twisty mystery. I like Mick and Roz as a couple. They really get and trust each other.

I'm wondering when Teddy is going to get his own story (and PLEASE let it be better than how Brent Sinatra's turned out) cause Teddy is becoming a chip off the old block.

Yess!

As always she never fails at giving us the best story lines when it comes to our loveable mobsters. Sometimes family can be more deadly than your enemies and that is what Roz learned poor thing. Overall this was a good read I liked how Mick is still recognizing he have a long way to go with his children.

Good Read

I love Mick the Tick, he is a bit overbearing but a bad ass. This book had me guessing and guessing incorrectly. I love that the storyline was not obvious.

You Should Know Mick By Now!

A second reading of the fourth in the Mick Sinatra series. Another five star read about Mick, Roz and Mick's children. Once again, Mick's love for Roz and his children is on display. However, Mick realizes that he loves Roz more than his children.

Who would kidnap Gloria and blame Roz? They didn't know Mick's deep feeling for Roz and the fact that no one and nothing could change that. Even Mick was surprised at the depth of his love for Roz. It was a bit unbelievable who was responsible for what happened to Gloria. They didn't know Mick at all but how did they find out all the information on Roz and Gloria?

As alpha as Mick is, he went a little too far with the "spanking" and the "whopping" with the belt. Those unrealistic actions caused me to drop this from a five star to a four star read. Roz helping William out without letting Mick know what was going on made no sense. It added nothing to the story. We finally meet Bella, Gloria's mother - another one who underestimates Mick's love for Bella. Mick didn't hesitate to let her know.

Mick's children should have no ill feelings against Roz, especially Joey. She's the reason Mick is trying to be a better father to them. It was Roz's nature to go all out for her friend and Mick allowed her to do so even knowing that she had a hard lesson to learn about Betsy. Roz learned her lesson and showed Betsy how well she learned it. Still Mick had to show her how to finish those who betray you.

Why do her friends and Mick's children keep underestimating Mick's love for Roz? Mick's love for Roz has no boundaries. On to the fifth book in Mick Sinatra series.

I love Mallory Monroe's books, especially "Reno and Trina books. I would have liked to see some in depth crossover from the other Sinatra's and Gabrinis besides the end of the book. Not just the mention of their names, but actual involvement in the book. Some parts of the book were a little farfetched. For instance, Mick's grown children calling his wife, Roz, " Ma." She's not much older than they are, and the author has them calling her Ma. It comes off as ridiculous. I noticed M.M. also, does this in the "Big Daddy" books. She has "Charles Sinatra's grown children calling his wife, Janay "Ma!?" It doesn't seem realistic and is awkward when read. Also, the person revealed seemed farfetched. It was out there. As if M.M. just came up with the most unlikely person. But, it didn't ring true to me. But, overall I enjoyed the book as I enjoy all of the books. Although, some more than others. I can't wait for the next "Big Daddy" and "The President's Girlfriend" and "Sal's next books. But, Reno and Trina remain my favorite.

If I haven’t said it before let me say it now, the “grown children” all seem to have a mental disability. Teddy’s 30+ years old and still trying to be down with daddy? Come on! That’s the only thing I really don’t like about the Mick series. Just makes me wanna scream, “You are not a baby no mo’ Jody!” All the searching for attention from the “children” is so over the top and annoying, he actually whooped him with a belt!

I know I’ve said that Roz needs to stand up as well before but in this one, I couldn’t think of anything other than that. She’s so weak when it comes to Mick and she’s just as big a child as the others. How many times does someone have to betray you before you understand they don’t have your best interest at heart? Also, what was the point in making a big deal out of the store owner in the beginning? The mayor as well? I have a feeling the next one will be centered around the two. Enjoyed the read but this one has to be the worse as far as storyline goes.

Ticking time bomb

Mick is back with a vengeance....decapitation,emasculating,ejaculating...whacking guys and girls from beginning to end...all to save the love of his life.....Roz is on everyone's sh$t list in this installment....so called friends, frenemies,ex baby mamas...you name...she's got...but most of all..she has Mick...he moved mountains to protect his woman...I suspect the next one will be about the crooked mayor and possibly Adrian's mother..can't wait!!!!!

A Very Good and Exciting Interracial Romance

Mick Sinatra 3: If You Don't Know Me By Now is a very good and exciting interracial romance that earned a rating of five stars. I found this book to be sensual as well as an exciting page turner. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading very good interracial romantic novels.

What can I say I really wasn't expecting this once again Mallory Monroe out did herself I know that Roz doesn't like to take orders from mick but he knows what he is doing. Because once again Rosalind friends know they that they can take advantage of her because she is a push over. Once again she is always falling for Besty mess I am glad that Mick decided to do take matter into his own hands because if Mick didn't do the job roz will still be falling for it. And as for Joey I am need for him to get it together because he is so willing to throw roz under the bus because he is jealous of the fact that roz have his father heart he need to get over it and learn how to love his father now because he is trying even though that mick have a long way to go to loving his kids the proper way he is trying so joey needs to get it together and stop being jealous of teddy and roz joey doesn't realize that teddy was already in the street before their father got into their lives, But most of all this was a really good book.

Another hit!

I loved this book! Hate is an awful thing along with envy! One of the things I like about Ms. Monroe's books is that it gives a brief synopsis of the story and then get in-depth to it! I never know who did it, and I love that! She never let's the cat out of the bag until the end so it's always full of suspense! Ms. Monroe, I love all of your books, but Mick Sinatra and Roz are definitely up their as one of my favorite couples! Please keep these stories coming!

The sweet of this series? The surprise of who some of the bad guys are. I would never have imagined the person who made Gloria to disappear. Also the hop, step and jump Mick and his men had to go through to get to the bottom of it. Joey behaved as an immature by turning against Roz. Gloria’s mom also added fuel to fire by behaving like a jealous and threatening woman to Roz and Mick’s marriage. Mick quickly put an end to her shenanigans. The stunning ending to this is a doozer..

Will the dead bodies and friends and family betrayals ever end??? I seriously doubt it!
I love the saga and will continue to read them however,, I must complain about the editing, the poor grammatical and sentence structures need serious work...
And! Just what was Tyson's wife's name???

You Better.Ask.Somebody!

Okay once again Ms.Monroe comes through with a bang up story.I love that we continuously get to see the real.Mick and To a this is one dynamic duo. These are two people who are not only in love but they are smart and tough and savvy, they bring out the best in each other.I know some readers are probably thinking that Mick is the biggest donkey, but you have to be too survive in his world.I would love to see a few softer edges in the coming stories and I also would like to see the children come into some of there own. This story was a little different it was a tad bit more edgy and a whole lot dangerous. From start to finish you are on the rollercoaster and what a ride!!This was just a well written and executed story.

No lie, I'm not a fan of Roz. I have a nephew in my life and I'd never allow my relationship with my boyfriend top that. If my relationship wasn't right with my nephew, then I'd work on that before I moved forward with my boyfriend. I'd need my nephew to know that just because I'm in a relationship does not mean he's not a priority. He'll always be number one. Mick put his kids on the back burner over and over again and Roz, with her smug ass, allows it. I felt for Joey in this book. If I were Roz, I'd never let my husband beat his children. They are angry and rightfully so!! She recognizes it but to some degree because she knows she's top priority. I liked the book but I don't like Roz. She's smug and pretentious to me.

FYI...my nephew is in my legal custody.

Another Page Turner

Everyone one who is a fan of Mallory Monroe knows she brings the drama, suspense and exciting sex scenes and Roz and Mick's is among the best.

This book really had me on the edge of my seat. There was one situation after another and once one is resolved; another pops up. The suspense was off the chart and had me going until the very end when it was revealed. A great read.

Plenty of action!!!!

She has done it again!!!

Mick and Rosalind have a real trusting relationship. Yet there are so many things thrown at them in this book. There is plenty of action and suspense. This reads more like a thriller than a romance novel. Keep them coming, I am a huge fan of this series.

This installment fell flat

I can't tell you how excited I was to read the final installment to Mick's saga, but what started off with a boom ended with a fizzle. For some reason the action felt forced to me. I mean, so pushed that it became too unrealistic. And seriously, I just can't with the over use of the term "female" to describe "women".
