I am very new to the vegan game. Like very new, so I was hoping a 101 book like this would help me set up more of the basics.
This is more of a 200 level book rather that for a newbie. Like their intro make suggestions on generic things to buy or add to the kitchen (e.g. “stock your pantry and refrigerator with a wide variety of spices, vinegars, oils, and other staples”) but fails to give examples leaving you to play your own guessing game of “will this work or won’t this work” down the road. However, the recipes look pretty manageable and easy. However I would still say they are not 101 level, more like you’re familiar enough with vegan cooking and want to up the stakes a smidge.
