I sometimes have the urge to read an inspirational book about things like angels appearing and miraculous, unexplainable help given to people or pets. So I checked to see what my library had. This book is a bit old-fashioned, mentioning things like church and God often; however it is non-denominational which is very nice, as not all of these types of books are. It's fun to read some of these true stories. It didn't grab me in the way some of these types of books have, due to the mainstream old-fashioned approach to the subject. Still; cool, uplifting stories!

Profound stories of miraculous activities. I particularly liked the last story. Gives me an idea of how love threads between life and death, and also how each of us makes a difference in the lives of people around us. Heaven beckons.

Interesting stories of miracles that had happened to different people. Some of the stories I had read before in different places. One story I was able to confirm by googling it and finding a photograph and news clip.

Amazing accounts of how the spiritual world interacts with our earthly lives, especially when we pray. The negative I found is the author put all world religions on the same level, not pointing to the sovereign Lordship of Jesus.

Opening lines:

Shortly after our family bought a house in Chicago's west suburbs in September in 1971, I met Lynne Gould. She appeared at the door one morning, accompanied by several small sons, to welcome us to the neighborhood. I invited her in, but she took one look at the boxes marked "Fragile-China" still stacked on my floors, and declined, which endeared her to me right away.

If you’re looking for something moving and to encourage your faith, I suggest you read this. This book will have you praying for your own miracles and watching for God to move in your life.

Fabulous and cheerful book. I like those miscellaneous stories where everything is possible: recovering from a terminal disease, driving a car without a battery and many other. One of my favourites is "Miracle Miles" about safe driving a lorry for six hours after loosing consciousness - something improbable from a logical point of view but it`s the most prominent proof that somebody watches over us...

I believe we all experience miracles in our lives every day. Whether we have our eyes open to see them is another choice we make daily. This book, "Where Miracles Happen", will give you examples of miracles in people's lives, that your eyes will be opened to the possibilities and joys of miracles open to you also. Look around you and feel God's love to you, too.
