"It has been a while since I devoured a book on architecture with as much pleasure. I love a good section and I love this book."—Aaron Betsky, Architect Magazine
Award-winning architects Paul Lewis, Marc Tsurumaki, and David J. Lewis's essential guide to section. I have heard this guy speak and his speach was mind blowing. The book, more textbook like, lacked the presentation and spirit of the co-author/presenter. Also wish it had been in color. The real renderings by this firm are stunners.
I've recently discovered the importance of section drawings in architecture, and this book illustrates how interesting section drawings can be. It also shows the potentiality of designing through section drawings instead of just plan drawings.
Interesante valoración de un medio de representación técnica, como lo es la SECCION, como un instrumento creativo en el oficio del diseño arquitectónico.
It is an incredible book for architectural reference, and it gives some great insight into different themes that students and practitioners can put into their work.
