This creative book contains quilts and several other patchwork projects inspired by the writings of Author Laura Ingalls Wilder. The 'Half-Pint Tip' sidebars contain helpful tips, and the stepped-out instructions and diagrams for the projects are thorough. The photography in this book is excellent, and the author's anectdotal information at the beginning of each chapter is enjoyable.

My favorite projects are the 'Schoolhouses and Sunflowers' quilt, 'Prairie Blooms Table Runner', 'Three Sisters Apron', and the 'A Jolly Dolly Afternoon' applique quilt.

Highly recommended to quilters, history buffs, and fans of Laura Ingalls Wilder.
