As a new machine embroiderer, I really appreciate the detailed, step-by-step instructions with clear photos. A little appliqué-heavy, but there are some nice ideas here. I didn't even know "in-the-hoop" meant doing "regular" sewing projects with the aid of the embroidery hoop (to semi-automate the process). What an interesting technique! I might not try the specific projects in this book, but it does give me some ideas.
