Reviews

[Isidore]

Another fine collection of offbeat tales assembled by Kevin L. Donihe––what a pity the "Bare Bones" series is no longer produced. There isn't a dud in the lot: James Chambers somehow manages to devise a fresh approach to the zombie yarn, and there are particularly memorable dark fantasies by Kurt Newton & L.L. Soares, Mark Justice, and Paul Finch. BB9 is altogether superior to many highly-touted anthologies from mainstream publishers, and well worth acquisition.
