Chosen One is the sixth installment in Scarlett Dawn's new-adult fantasy series titled: Forever Evermore. This one fell in the middle for me. There were things I loved and things that annoyed the hell out of me. Ain't life full of contradictions.

-Caro winds up 40 years in the past (not a spoiler) and I so enjoyed seeing some of the other characters in their younger years. Realizing that many of the characters had already met Caro in the past gave me a reason to go back to the fourth and f

As you can see, I am a huge fan of this series. It’s a go-to read for me when I just need a really incredible series to dig deep and stay there for a while…Forever Evermore hits that for me. Needless to say, I was a little excited when I was granted an ARC. I stayed up most of the night engrossed in the newest edition, CHOSEN ONE. Yes, it is just that good!

The story starts back up right where it left off with Caro noticing the eye color of her not so anonymous bed partner…an

Pfft, I'm actually tired after reading books 4,5 and 6 all in one go. When put all together there is a lot going on. And just when I thought things were slightly settled in the love department here, they open back up again on the last page of this one and now I don't have a clue what way it's going to go. I know where I want to go and that's the same as in the last book (view spoiler).

This is a hard one to rate because I lo
It’s all about Caro, her past, her present and what a difference forty years can make. Can you imagine being sent back in time, having those memories as if they just happened yesterday and then being thrust back to the future (or present), your emotions still raw, and your memories still fresh while everyone else has moved on?

Get ready to witness love, hate, passions on fire, revelations, compromises, and secrets revealed. This time out, Scarlett Dawn gives us character interaction, character re

Given how long we have waited for this book it definitely was not worth the wait. The plot and story line were so basic and rushed I don't understand why there was such a long wait between books. And the ending was so abrupt I have to wonder who thought it was a good idea ending it there

What I liked
Sin, Sin, Sin not only did his antics make me laugh he was the best part of the book for me.

What I did not like
1. I intensely dislike huge age differences between partners because I find them unreal
For all the fans of this series, I must warn you that this book doesn't not tie up at the end as a nice little trilogy like the first 3 books did. So if that's what you're expecting prepare to be disappointed. Also if you expect Caro to become more likeable, yeah that doesn't happen either. If you're expecting an actual plot, forget about it. There is no point to this story. At least I don't seem to see one. Zero character growth, no new relationships forged, no big baddie stopped.

In fact alot

Sad to find myself disappointed

It has felt as though I have been waiting for ages for this book.
Im so disappointed. The storyline was too much, so much going on background, but little information given. This made it hard to follow the story.
It dragged on.
Too much hotel room scenes towards the end, not much occurring. Most of this book is spent in a bedroom. Even i, as the reader was getting cabin fever.
Skipped lots of action, it felt like instead of describing the events, it was easier to h

It pains me to rate this as 3.5 stars. I love Ms Scarlett Dawn and I love the Forever Evermore Series even more. I loved Caro in this book. I loved Sin and I loved the others. Unfornately, this book felt more like a prequel or an in between book. It was long and satisfied by Caro need until next year....but I felt like not much happened. I just feel like Ms Dawn was setting the stage for the next book. In this book, it was hard to pin down the plot or the climax of this book. The book e

This is such an incredible series! Through six books, I have picked up tiny clues that have absolutely stunned me. There isn't a line I don't skip over, knowing it might have a hidden meaning. Scarlett Dawn is not just a writer, she is a story teller and a world builder. I can't wait for Book 7!

Title: Chosen One
Author: Scarlett Dawn
First let me say I have loved this series since the word go. Patiently waiting for each book to be released. When Caro became the primary heroine I adored her just as much as Queen Ruckler and Queen Cooper. I patiently wait for each book, each slice of Caro's story is published. That being said, I have to ask, you ended the book right there? Right when it finally heats up? The story is finally moving and... all st

The Forever Evermore Series is one of my all time favorites. When I don't know what to read I come back to this series among only a few others constantly. So I was squealing when I got Chosen One one month early to read.

The book starts right where we were left in the last one. From the first page you are taken on a rollercoaster ride, which is quite typical for Scarlett Dawn and I loved it!
(Finally) you learn a lot about Spirits, where they come from and what their purpose i
Caro is sent back in time, and ends up getting close with someone she never thought she would. The problem is that person may not be exactly who she thinks, and then when she goes back to her time things get all kinds of crazy for her.

This book was okay, it wasn't great, but not bad either. I was annoyed with how it ended, and I really hope that there is a conclusion with Caro (like another book for her and not someone else) and who will be the man she ends up with. Also, I felt like this one j

Scarlett Dawn did it again with her AMAZING STORIES THAT HAVE CLIFFHANGERS THAT ARE THE BEST/WORST EVER! I’ve been reading these books since the beginning and was impatiently waiting to get my hands on this! Chosen One did NOT disappoint! It starts off right where Chosen Fool left off, back in time, and gets better with each page!! I don’t want to spoil anything, but Caro’s story CANNOT BE DONE! Right?! ARC received via Netgalley for an honest review

I have been waiting with bated breath for this final installment in Caro's story (you will need to have read Chosen Thief and Chosen Fool for this installment to make any sense).

Chosen One continues right where Fool ended, and it is one bumpy ride from that time on!

I liked Caro back in the past, chumming it up with the Prodigies (soon to be kings) and Elders from earlier books in the series. Oh my goodness was it great to see them. And their present

I loved this book. It was fast paced and constantly had my attention. It gave me all of the feels and I was constantly going into fan-girl mode while reading it. I didn't want to put it down! Let me start out by saying that I went into this book thinking it was the final installment for Caro's character. I had no idea that this wasn't the last book for her so everything I thought was going to happen didn't. I probably should have looked up if this was the last one after t

I was lucky enough to get an ARC of Chosen One. Amazing! Absolutely amazing! With the major cliff hanger from the last book, I had high expectations for this book. Of course, Scarlett Dawn did not disappoint! Just like the rest of the series, it drew me in from the beginning, and held me until the very end.

I find that Caro grows up so much in this book. She isnt the same person she was in the previous books! She is such a fun and exciting character. We also learned more about the elusive Spirit

I’ve been waiting over a year for this next instalment of the forever evermore books. I was not disappointed. I loved it! Honest to god I loved it. Questions that had been banging about inside my head since reading Chosen theif and Chosen fool we’re answered. I have others now but that’s beside the point. SD did not let me d

Honestly, I love Scarlett Dawn. Her writing is great. When you start this book, you get instantly sucked in. Putting your book aside will be complicated.

Regarding the substance, we start the story where the last book ended. Caro, Element prodigy, is stuck in 1990. She is still strong, funny and sexy. In this book, we discover the man she is going to love and each of the characters gradually find their place in her life. Honestly I loved the 3/4 of the book because:

1 / There is action

Chosen one is FINALLY here! I’m so happy, when I saw that I got approved for the ARC I started to jump up and down in the sofa, you can imagine how my sister looked at me after that. But really, I was looking forward to this one since I finished the previous which was 2 days after that one came out. That cliffhanger was killing me but not anymore.

In Scarlett Dawn's latest foray into the world of Forever Evermore is Chosen One (Forever Evermore Book Six), she has once again provided us with a fast paced story, full of twists and turns, and her signature cliffhanger.

Building upon the emotional devastation Walker Leric / Jacob Angel and Philip Masterson wreaked in the previous volume, Chosen One explores the concepts of trust and forgiveness with strangers and mentors, loved ones and lovers.

Split into three acts, the story picks up right wh

Scarlett Dawn did it again! This book, Chosen One, is a continuation of the Forever Evermore series. The author is incredibly imaginative and all of her books have been excellent reads. The plot is highly thought out over several books and many questions from previous books are answered in this one. The main character is Caro. She's an extremely complex person that you can't help but fall in love with and her journey isn't finished by the way the book ended. I wouldn't say there's a cliffhanger, ...more

You gonna end it like THAT?! Lol! Ok, ok.... I get it, but dang. Now I want more, a lot more!! This series is getting out of hand, but in the best possible way.

- Having read quite a few of Dawn’s collections by now, I’ve realized three solid points: She has a Romeo and Juliet obsession, she adores the fated mate trope.... but only so she can discard it, and choice is the highest ideal. All those come into play during Caro’s story, wonderfully.
- The twists!
- World building.

OMG. This book. It’s captivating. Amazing. Perfect continuation of Caro’s story. I absolutely adore her! She’s a character you don’t want to cross.

I think it’s funny some of these men think they can cross her. She might be young in comparison to others but she’s dang smart.

Gah. I read this book in less than 6 hours total. It’s long but freakin amazing. I just can’t tell you that enough. Love love love this series and Scarl

If you like Paranormal Romance with a fast pace, a well built world, wonderfully fleshed out characters and a good dose of steamy sex scenes then I promise Chosen One will not disappoint!
The third installment of Caro's story in the Forever Evermore series starts right where the last book left off, and takes you on a trip that you probably won't expect. by Scarlett Dawn is the 6th installment in her massive series Forever Evermore and the third for her heroine Caro. This book was lukewarm for me.
