A Sensual Adaptation of Adventurous Youth: Delicious, Decadent and Delectable!!

This piece really reflects Pablo Michaels’ creativity. His string of word choices is clever and wraps the scene in vivid visuals. The imagery is sublime. Who is the old man, the stranger, and what does he have to do with Jack and his mother? Pablo has cleverly added poignant character depth by infusing some of Jack's genesis, his family, parents and farm life, even expanded upon it to describe the hardship which was t

This is an erotic mm retelling of a well known fairy tale.

Its just about ok for a quick/free read.

Jack is a wimpy looking 18 year old when his sent to sell his families cow. what follows is the standard storyline with lots of sexual acts with a few people.

Eventually he meets Sam and I Iiked Sam, their relationship added to the story.

If you like sexual acts added where they shouldn't really be, fantasy or not, this is for you.

This is my second read of this author's work and I've decided its defin

A fascinating M/M love story is interwoven with pieces from the original fairy tale to create a one-of-a-kind new "bedtime" story for adults. With exquisite detail of encounters that left my mouth salivating, this was a nice, spicy story that sent me off to heights higher than the magical beanstalk! This was a refreshingly nice re-telling with a very, very adult twist to it! Not for the faint of heart!

Jack and the Magical Beanstalk by Pablo Michaels is a short story loosely based on the English fairy tale but written, of course, with a gay romantic twist. The forty-nine pages took me less than an hour to consume and consume I did with sincere pleasure. In my opinion, this story is the author’s best written to date. Colourfully descriptive, however not overdone, Mr. Michaels’s characters are endearing and at times humourous, which adds a

A New Spin On A Timeless Classic!
By Imagine The Possibilities on January 1, 2016

I was given a complimentary copy of this book by the author. This review is my honest opinion and was not asked of me.
Jack and the Magical Beanstalk (Yellow Silk Dreams) by author Pablo Michaels is a testament, of sorts, to the story Jack and The Beanstalk... but from a Gay perspective. This story does follow the premise from the fairy tale in its simplicity but from a very different perspective than its original for

I am giving Jack and the Magical Beanstalk 3.5 STARS as I have mixed feelings about this story. First, as a fairy tale turned adult read, I think that the author did a really good job in making that transition and I found myself chuckling a time or two. The thing is that this is my first fairy tale turned adult read and my first read from this author, so I'm not sure if the one-dimensional emotional depth to the story is par for the course in this type of read or if this is simply the author's w ...more

Jack and the Magical Beanstalk was a very strange spin on a classic tale. This book was very creative and well written, however it just isn't my cup of tea. It was filled with emotions of a young gay man who, at first, doesn't realize that he is gay. When he climbs the beanstalk, he finds the man he loves up above. This book was very imaginative and definitely a twist on a classic tale.

Jack and his mother are struggling to make ends meet, so jack goes to sell their milk cow. When he comes back

Certainly not your childhood fairytale!

Told with an erotic twist of gay fiction, this fairytale by Mr. Michaels is filled with sensual, seductive, graphic descriptions that left this reader no doubt as to what was going on!

I enjoyed the author's imaginative use for the beans and the giant's position as a dominant with a slave. Certainly original.

The tale is well-written, and effectively edited for punctuation, although, imho, delivery could've been slightly altered at the start for a greater imp

Mr. Michael’s brought life and a new pop to this old classic. He gave us insight into the dynamics of being raised by a single parent. He molded the old and new into a beautiful piece of imagery with depth making it easy to relate to the hardships and lessons that are learned along the way. Mr. Michael’s adapted Jack making him easily fit into the 21st century while keeping the old charm that made this story a classic.
Mr. Michael’s subtly slipped in analogies which gave the story a bit of humor

JACK AND THE MAGICAL BEANSTALK
by Pablo Michaels

This short very sexy read is a fascinating m/m retelling of the classic fairytale. Jack a wimpy young man and his adventures as he follows along the path the original fairytale takes you. This author did very well in making this story stick to the fairytale guidelines of Jack and the beanstalk but yet add in creativity and adventures that make it his very own. Jack meets some interesting characters on his way to meeting Sam his true love that make t

Pablo Michaels certainly knows how to tell an erotic tale, and then some. ‘Jack and the Magical Beanstalk’ threw me into a genre which I had never before encountered. The back-story of how Jack’s parents met and conceived Jack added depth to each of the characters and the reaction of Jack’s mother to Bill’s death was gut-wrenching, but the story quickly changed to one of spicy male-on-male erotica which I found to be quite humorous in places, such as the shape of the beans and how they were acqu ...more

Pablo Michaels' does it again. He has a great knack for storytelling, and this time he takes a childhood fairy tale and makes it sizzle with a whole new adult twist. Jack disobeys his mom when she sends him off to sell their prize dairy cow, and mayhem ensues. Follow Jack, his mother, their two farmhands, the Giant and his slave, and the naked man in the clouds who catches Jack's eye as they take you on a journey you don't want to miss.

Had a lot of fun with this novella, it is an adult/gay take on Jack and the Bean Stalk, but still has that great magical pull as the original story. It is not for the feint of heart and not for kids, but if you like steamy sex and high flying fantasy adventure, this story is for you. I only give it four stars instead of five because I wanted it to be longer. This was a complimentary read to review. Thank you for the fun read!
