Adriana once again finds herself on the verge of another coronation, but this time as Sebastian Dalman’s demon queen. Disguised as her protector for five years, he had guarded her closely as the head of her guard while keeping his identity hidden from everyone, including her. Adriana frustrated me so much in this book. I just wanted to throttle her! Shake some sense into her, especially when it came to her father and brother. A lot of whining from her in this book. I liked Kendrick and Sebastian soo much and was unsure who should Adriana choose. One moment my heart would break for Kendrick and I would want him to win then the next Sebastian would do or say something and my heart would break all over again for him. I was torn because I didn't want either one to suffer.

I hope it's not the final book of the series. I get that it says trilogy, but I've seen how some writers add on other books afterwards. Because the ending was great, IF ITS NOT THE FINAL BOOK. Many questions were left unanswered leaving me hoping that there will be more books to the story. Like for example Sebastians story and what happened once he got the throne again. I also wish to know more about Xander, what happened to the sister? Why so much pain that he carries around? Where's his happy ending? Also the Wiseman, I want more of his story too. I can't imagine how difficult it is to be the Wiseman and wish to see his point of view.

Holy crap! I couldn't put this book down. It sucked me in and had me flipping through pages like a mad woman wanting to know what happens next. The action, suspense and romance all flowed together seamlessly. I'm a sucker for a forbidden romance and this series hasn't disappointed yet.
I'm not sure if this is the last book or if there will be more but I'll definitely be reading them if there is.

Demon princess Adriana has now returned home to fulfill her betrothal and marry the reigning demon king, her former bodyguard, Sebastian, turning her back on her love for human Savior-blood Keldrin. But before the ceremony completes, the kingdom is overrun by another force of demons, commanded by Adriana’s missing father, who takes back the throne. Adriana has to make a decision on who she is going to stand behind: her father, her brother, Sebastian now branded a traitor, or Keldrin. Her father has decided the time of living in peace with the humans is over, and with the newly recovered scepter of the demon king taken from Sebastian, his power has increased to where he can destroy all of the human towns between the demon kingdom and the human capitol city.

I loved the ending on this story. I thought it wrapped up the story to where I was happy to end there. It had a good ending for the characters I had grown to love over the course of these three books. The book overall, I wasn’t entirely happy with. My main reason was because Adriana, who is usually a relatively stubborn, determined character, just felt like she was going along with things. I mean, she was going along with her wedding to Sebastian because she had been promised to him. It really irked me that she had blinders on when regarding her father. He was the demon king and commanded his army against the humans in the past, yet she was convinced he was a good man. Everyone around her, including her brother and Sebastian told her how horrible of a person he was, yet she was still convinced he was a good person. He killed Keldrin’s mother, and Sebastian’s parents, yet she was still convinced he was a good person. He tried to kill her, etc. She was just beyond naïve to the point of idiocy. I was irritated that everyone in the book kept treating Adriana like she was fragile and made of glass. I got a bit bored by all the battles in this story. I felt like we needed more on the Wiseman -he always felt rather marginalized, and her brother, and I never got that clear of a mental picture of Sebastian other than muscular. I did love all of the moments between Adriana and Keldrin, waiting for Keldrin to talk to her. And I did love some of the twists, like the scepter, going on the run, and their usual differences of being a demon vs a savior-blood. In all, a lot happens in this book and didn’t leave me bored at any point.

review has been posted on my blog between the pages. (:

i don't even know where to begin with this review. i was so excited to read this book, especially because i loved the first two books. this book started bad, right up till the point i decided not to go any further. (i read past half way btw.)

my biggest problem with this book is how unreasonable the main character was. like this dude steals her kingdom (as in becomes king), kidnaps her dad, then tries to forcefully marry her because they were 'engaged since they were children'. all the while, adriana shouldn't trust this guy but happily does everything she can to save him. she doesn't love him, she loves the other guy and they're both trying to kill each other. she knows how bad the first dude was but she continues to try save him, even when her dad returns and tries to kill him (rightfully). idk nothing she was doing made any sense compared to the first two books.

and all adriana seems to be able to do is cry. i swear to god, there's nothing more than a pathetic crybaby when she's the ONLY female in the bloody book. 'i can't do this, i can't do that. i'll let the boys save me' ugH why?

not to mention that everything was so predictable. the book is relatively short, i should've finished it with no problem, but it pissed me off at how easily i could guess what was going to happen. also, i want to point out .

Anyway, i rated this book 2 stars when it was probably only worth one. i don't recommend this book unless you're a sjm fan and thought the ooc characterisations in queen of shadows was okay. sorry i probably shouldn't have said that. but anyway, don't read this book.

**I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review**

What I liked:

Adriana's loyalty.
Keldrin's loyalty.

What I didn't like:

I have no idea what happened between the first book and the second and third, but Adriana became the world's biggest cry baby.

The writing would switch from great to amateurish.
Some of the plot points made me roll my eyes with how cheesy they were. They weren't all that original.

The ending - while most people were happy with it, I felt like it left way too many loose ends.
The book was completely, and irritatingly predictable.

Keldrin and Adriana's relationship is confusing as all hell. Nothing that Adriana did made sense. She says she should've followed her own intuition a lot, and I completely agree. It would've saved her a lot of trouble.

Would I recommend? Eh, probably not. It wasn't my favorite conclusion to a trilogy, if it's even a conclusion. Like I said, the ending left so many unanswered questions, I feel like Kassandra wanted to give everyone the ending they wanted, and forgot to wrap everything else up. There could easily be another book.

Nice epic storytelling

Interesting read, kept me going on to the next book. Nice mythology developed, very different from the traditional fantasy cliches.

Adriana once again finds herself in the middle of a war for the Demon Kingdom and in her heart. On the one hand, her ex-princess guard Sebastian has always been there for her. On the other hand, Keldrin has captured her heart so completely, she doesn’t know how she would ever be able to love another. But there is more at stake than just her love life and things that were secret are now coming out into the open. Can she save her kingdom and be happy or will it all end in despair?

Demon Queen is the third book of the Demon Kingdom Fairy Tales and let me tell you what a ride this series was! It is so full of surprises at every corner you never know what is going to happen next! When I read the first book Demon Princess I never would have thought Adriana’s story would end this way and am happy I stayed on through the end. If it is the end…

Half of the book I was thinking ‘Oh, she’s going to pick Sebastian, it’s the only logical choice!’ and all the while a small part of me was still holding out for Adriana and Keldrin to get back together. I think Keldrin is so good for Adriana he doesn’t treat her like she is a child and can’t be trusted to make her own decisions. While Sebastian does have good intentions, I felt like he was always going to be overprotective of her and it would end up suffocating her in the end.

I felt like there was quite a bit more fighting with blood and gore than the first two books, which doesn’t bother me one bit. But it has been a few months since I read them and I feel like I want to go back and compare them at one point to see if I am remembering them right.

Overall, I was uber excited to get this book in my inbox and was happy with the tidy ending that came at the end of the book. There was still an opening for another book, so I am not a hundred percent sure this is the end of the series. If not then the way Lynn ended it makes me think maybe someone else’s point of view will be featured from here on out? Because Adriana has been through enough and needs a break!

Gorgeous writing and even more wonderful covers, I give this lovely piece of work a RAGING 5 bunnies!

I did read the other two books in this series--and enjoyed both immensely--and would not recommend reading this book as a stand alone. There is quite a bit of background information not only in the plot but character relationships and goals, which is necessary to know before diving into this last adventure.

Adriana, like in both of the other books before, again finds herself at a coronation. Again, it is her own, but this time as the Queen, wed to Sebastian. And again, the entire event is blown by the way side as the castle falls under attack. I enjoyed the repetition in the opening scenes, each similar but so different that it made a perfect way to dive with Adriana into the next rush. And this story is a rush.

There's never a dull moment as Adriana fights not only for her life and those of who she cares for, but also her kingdom, that which is right, and her heart. She has a full plate and not much time to clear it all. Luckily, this isn't a huge novel, which lessens the guilt when the reader can't put the book down until the last page. Adriana is pulled from one situation into the next without time to rest, which does wear her and her comrades down.

The fairly wide array on characters and their intentions makes this a layered story, and although it's pretty clear what each party wants, Adriana is stuck in the middle emotionally. There's never a clear cut black and white for her, despite her desire to do what's right. And that gives her a nice, realistic touch.

The only thing which bothered me about this book was the ending. It's sweet and the ends are nicely wrapped up, but it concludes to quickly. I missed another chapter to help glide the reader back down from the adventure and give time for the ending to sink in completely.

Otherwise, this was a fun series with more action than character depth, tons of spark and adventure to keep the tension high until the end. Oh, and there's romance too. Lots of that. And both heroes are so wonderful, it's hard to decide which one to cheer for.

Adriana is going to crowned once again, but not as demon king, but as demon queen to someone she had no idea was an heir to the throne. She feels betrayed and heartbroken, but she is determined to help make her kingdom the best possible kingdom. But there are more secrets and betrayals than she even dreamed of, and when she finds out about them one by one, she doesn't know who to turn to and who to trust. One thing is for sure, she loves Keldrin, but it would never work between a savior blood and demon. Will her life ever settle down? Or will she die trying to save her kingdom from those who are trying to usurp it?

Once again, I was immediately drawn into the story. As in the previous books in this series, the characters were interesting, the plot was intriguing, the book was very well-written, and the action was non-stop. Sometimes the action was a little too non-stop because I needed to catch my breath once in a while, but I managed. I do wish, however, that the end of the book with the windup was a little longer, but that just could be I didn't want it to end. Overall, this is a wonderful series and extremely well-worth reading, for all ages. I would strongly suggest you start from the beginning if you haven't read the first two, however. You could keep up just reading the third, but you'd miss so much of the backstory. Highly recommend!

How many times can a person trip? Why is she so useless and Drake popping in and out of the story serves no purpose

I would recommend reading the other ones before this to understand some of the back story, you do read some things throughout this story that were in it.

Adri is once again at a coronation of her own, but this time as Sebastian Queen. But not all goes as plans. Her heart will always belong to another but she will do her duty and stand by Sebastian because he is a good man and a good Demon King. But someone seems to think he knows where her father is, but he keep insisting he does not, and she wants to believe him.

But then all chaos breaks loose. She finds herself between 3 sides and not sure which one she should run to. Which way do you run when your heart pulls you three different ways?

The war is bloody and many innocent lives are lost. But in the end I was smiling. I was very happy for the ending, would have liked maybe a few more pages to see if finalized, but loved it anyways.

Really enjoyed this book, as well as the previous ones. I received a copy in exchanged for an honest review.

I've received this book by the author in exchange for an honest review
This book was pure action from beginning to end.

After what happened in the last book, Adriana is recovering from the chest wound in her castle while preparing for her marriage with Sebastian despite the fact she loves Keldrin.
But there's no hope for a romance between a demon and a savior blood.

We discover a lot about how evil Drake and Adriana's father is after we discover hr is not only alive but also planning on killing Sebastian, the wiseman and the warrior while planning an attack to destroy the airean kingdom.

A lot of battles happen and we see a really sweat side of Sebastian for wanting Adriana's happiness and the fact he is not as cruel and evil as other Demon Kings, so there's a lot of aiding between mortal enemies for the good of demons and humans alike.

I really look forward to read more after that ending.

I really liked this book as an ending to the story. At first I was a little disappointed that Adriana was going along with Sebastian when you know she wants to be with Keldrin. As the story continued I understood that she was conflicted between duty and love. Her father and brother have both returned and bring more fighting destruction. She feels that her and Keldrin don't belong together because they are enemies, and she knows that Sebastion has always looked out for her and always will. I kinda liked the rollercoaster of what was gonna happen, because halfway through I didn't know which way it was gonna go in the end and I was very happy with the way that it did end.
If you haven't read it, definitely start with Demon King.
I loved the series and would read it again ☺

Thankfully, this one did not seem quite as rushed as the last one, however, it still needs work. The plot and ideas are great. I only wish that a little more time had spent on editing. Along with that, I also think that many of the conversations were stiff and awkward. It also seemed like I was being talked at. I was still getting figurative whiplash from the emotions jumping back and forth. However, this one was not as predictable as the last one was.

I give it 3.5 stars.

I think, overall, I am disappointed with this series. It started out pretty good, but, unfortunately, the author's writing and ideas did not improve or stay consistent. I wish more time had been spent on this series.

This series is rather short but it packs an amazing imaginational punch behind it. It's a fresh exciting news idea in the fantasy world. The chapters flow well and this ending tied all the loose ends up and kept true to its roots.
I'm thrilled to have found out about the first one via netgalley and got a chance to take the journey with the rest of the series via the author. She's incredibly talented and I cannot wait for more of her work.

Another wonderful book. Adrianna is in the middle of several battles and has to deal with them and her own confusing over who she loves and should be with. But she continues to try and see the good in people and to do right be everyone. In the end she does get her happy for now, even though there will still be struggles ahead, and the kingdoms are on the way to a truce so she did get what she wanted after a fashion.

It was an interesting conclusion (it is the last book... not sure) and I enjoyed coming back to these set of characters. Although there were a few things I had issues with, overall I glad with the way it ended.

At least Adriana and Keldrin finally get to be together in the end! That's basically all I wanted from this series.

I'm petty, ok?! So the only reason for the stupid low rating is because Sebastian didn't end up with Lena. I wanted them together! Sebastian was awesome, he's the perfect man. Totes #goals! Why does that savior blood have to butt in! It was supposed to be Sebastian and Lena. Not Fucking Keldrin and Adri

This was an okay book. As in the previous one, the story felt awkwardly paced and disjointed. I was frequently irritated with the main character. I mean, I was happy for her at the end, but I felt kind of let down with the ending as it was quite brief. Plus, I feel like she didn't grow a lot. I don't know, I just wasn't really happy with Demon Queen. 3 stars.

Ok 3rd book

Good read but I was a little disappointed that our main character is sometimes portrayed has weak when her character was not like that in the prior books and I felt like this book was rushed whereas the prior two had more depth. Also ended too quickly. Either way still a good read.

Cute

This story is concise and without much depth but intriguing nonetheless. The story is not predictable with villains appearing at anytime to keep the action alive. While you may not empathize with the characters much it's still a cute story.

What an ending! Start off with where book 2 ended. The trio, Drake, Sebastian, and Adriana. That damn demon king scepter! I was wondering if maybe she would end up with Sebastian after all...no spoilers!
