This is a fantastic read, full of magic that transcends it's fae roots. The story follows two separate plot lines, what happened to the title character in the time of Queen Elizabeth, and her re-emergence into the world during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
For me, this book was a pleasure to read, because I'm intimately familiar with London, and much of the surrounding areas, as well as the history of the region. As such, it was so comforting to find that the author had included details about

This was an elegantly written piece. The main character, Viper, definitely feels like something "other," through the entire narrative. The Elizabethan chapters felt real & consistent. The premise of this story was incredibly interesting. I liked the mix of Celtic magic, history and royalty. I also really enjoyed seeing how the author wove actual historical events and those she

A fantastic read! Mystery and intrigue wrapped up in Magic , Tudor England , Elizabeth the 1st AND 2nd!
I suspect there is a lot more to Viper then we have seen so far and seeing as I finished this in 3 days ( the first time) I can’t wait to see what the next book has in store!

Well-written and engaging characters. The two timelines compliment each other without distracting the reader from either story.
