After leaving for Twisted Tour, Peyton Lane thought her relationship with Jace Austin was stronger than ever, but she was wrong. Tabloids and magazine gossip took center stage, and their relationship took a back seat. So, she did what any logical young adult would do: she moved on.

Moving on is easier said than done, especially when it comes to Jace. He knows Peyton is his soulmate. He’s known it all along. He let her slip through his fingers once before, but he won’t do it again. This time he’s playing for keeps.

(Source: I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to author Kira Adams.)

“There is no expiration date on love. You don’t just wake up one day and stop loving someone.”

This was an NA contemporary romance story, following Peyton and Jace from the previous books in the series.

Peyton and Jace were apart at the beginning of this story, which was a real shame. It seemed like it was down to poor communication, but Jace in particular had also done things to drive him and Peyton apart, and it was clear that Peyton was having a rough time coming to term with things.

“It can’t be too late. You wouldn’t be there if it was.”

The storyline in this was about Jace and Peyton getting back together and talking about what had ended their relationship and where they wanted it to go from there. We also got a bit of action and mystery alongside the romance storyline though. As far as the romance went though, we did get one sex scene towards the end of the book.

“Live in this moment with me, Peyton. Live in the now.”

The ending to this was okay, and things seemed to work out okay for Peyton and Jace in the end.

(I received a copy from the author, In exchange for an honest review.)

I didn't like the characters in this as much as I did in the previous books, but they weren't awful.

This was an okay read, but again, I didn't like it as much as the previous ones. It just couldn't hold my interest quite so well unfortunately.

Overall, An okay read, but my least favourite out of the series.

I have not read the previous releases in this series so that makes this review a little tough as I have no back knowledge of the characters except for reading the blurb from the author. That makes it really tough sometimes to give a fair review and I hate that. Again if you are a fan of a series that we receive and ARC of that we have not received the previous releases on don’t take my word for it. Click the book up and see for yourself.

Peyton Lane finds herself in a really bad situation waking up with a large arm wrapped around her and a stranger breathing down on her neck. She desperately is trying to find her clothes without waking the stranger but isn’t having much luck. Jace is gone – publicity made sure of that along with long road trips and indiscretions.

Jace is still in love with Peyton. Im not sure all of the turmoil that they went through in the past but in this release its drama all over the place. I couldn’t really determine what was going on because I was too busy wondering what caused all of this between the two. Its evident that the people leading their careers have the two heading into somewhat different directions with what seems no roads leading to each other.

There was so much push and pull in this book and like I said I didn’t read the first releases so it was tough for me to really get into the story and the characters. I was also frustrated with their antics towards each other. It seems very “young minded” instead of adult.

I thank you for the ARC and again it was difficult for me to review this book without knowing the past history of the characters. If you are a fan of Peyton and Jace though click it up!

The Road Back to Us, the third book of a series, is one of my favorite Kira Adams books so far. I read TRBTU without having read the first two (yet), and it worked well as a stand-alone for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the story line, the pacing, and the heat between Peyton and Jace. I look forward to going back and reading the first two books to catch up on what I missed of their history. It is a pleasure seeing Kira's writing prowess grow as she continues to publish, and I hope to read much more from her. It keeps getting better and better.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This story picks up a few years after book two ends. I often wondered what became of Peyton and Jace and now I have my answers. Life is full of surprises. Peyton is pursuing her music and Jace is in Hollywood acting. This story is about second chances and learning to find your place in the world. However one drunken night will change the course of these two lives forever. The story was good and some parts were slower than others but overall it was a good conclusion to Jace and Peyton. Definitely need to read the other two before this one.

Excellent

I loved this series, it was great. Not at all about the typical perfect characters, it was about mistakes, learning, growing, going after your dreams, letting nothing hold u back, and true love. I recommend this series, and hope the Author decides to write more about this series.

We start out this chapter of the series with Peyton waking up in a strange hotel room.Where is she and what happened? Who is in bed with her when she realizes that she is in a bed with an arm holding her down? Is it Jace? Peyton is clearly touring, at least playing with her band. What is Jace up to? Is he still acting? Sometimes I get a little disconcerted with things, because it almost feels like it is two different books, however, there is hope that things will merge back into one at 20% of my way into the book. Jace still loves and yearns for Peyton, but the question is does she miss and still love and yearn for him? Their careers are both flourishing and that started the rift, but what actually was the catalyst? What happens when Jace hears Peyton's new single that she has put out with the band? What does he do? Will they ever find themselves talking again? They seem to think about one another so often, but Peyton doesn't seem to call him, and he seems to call her but hangs up when she answers. Sounds more like middle school kids playing jokes on someone of the opposite sex at times because at that age, you do mean things to show someone you like them. Be prepared for a WHOLE LOT of craziness to be surrounding them as they work to see if they can become a couple again, and even with their jobs. The night that they flee the restaurant after Peyton's interview with a well known magazine, they go to a house that is not on the books as being owned by Jace. What happens while they are there? What phone call does Jace get? What happens with Peyton in the 24 hours she promised to give him to talk and figure things out? You're going to have to read the book to see what exactly happens, because it is C. R. A. Z. Y! Good job Kira Adams for a book well written!

This series is nothing if not completely real. It starts and ends at two different ends of the spectrum, but the journey in between is completely entrancing. Peyton is, like many of us, a girl lacking in self esteem and it is holding her back. Enter Jace. He is nothing she ever could have expected, even when he's a disappointment. There's nothing like falling in love, and nothing as heartbreaking as the ups and downs and downright terrible things it can make you do. I found myself rooting for people I'd originally cast off. And I found myself over and over again thinking, wow, this is what it's like to be young and unsure of yourself and trying to navigate a serious relationship at the same time. It isn't easy and it isn't rainbows and unicorn farts, as Peyton might say.

Finally, or for now at least, we have The Road Back to Us. This book's focus isn't quite like the other two, because it seems as if Jayton are now going their separate ways, and they must find themselves before they can find out if they will be in each other's lives ever again. We get dual pov to give us more insight into the two very different yet intertwining destinies these two seem to have. I don't want to give away the ending, but after a great deal of controversy and heartache, I was hoping for some redemption. You'll have to read it to find out if that's what happens. But know that this is not your typical boy and girl fall in love and live happily ever after. This is real life. This is bumpy and gross and sometimes intolerable, but remains hopeful.

The third book in the series picks up as both Peyton and Jace are finding success in their careers. These paths, however, have seem to taken them in different directions, and time in the public spotlight have seem to push or pull them apart.

The conflict they face in this story is less of the family and personal drama we saw in the previous two stories, and more so external drama as they come into their own popularity. While Peyton still struggled a bit with her own self-confidence in her body appearance, it seemed as tho these two weren't the characters we fell in love with previously. One one hand, this was a bummer, but in reality, people change as they move from a teenager to an adult.

The conflict was well written and the pace of the lead to the climax of the conflict was steady. I felt that once the conflict was over, the last portion of the story was wrapped up a bit too quickly and I was left a bit bereft of what these two characters really went through. The end was written more of telling the reader what happened and not really showing through the story.

Overall, I enjoyed this book as a culmination of the entire series (if it is). All couples go through struggles and their own obstacles at times, but it's hard to give up on love.

There is no expiration date on love. You don't just wake up one day and stop loving someone.

* I received an ebook in exchange for an honest review. *

There are some books that once they end you never think of the plot or characters again and then there are some books that even months later still pop up in your mind and you almost wonder about them as if there were real life friends....this book is the latter. I read the first book a long time ago and didn't know if I would remember the important details to read this one....but from the first paragraph it was like time stood still. I was able to jump right back into the story with no problems and it felt like no time at all had passed.

Author Kira Adams does an amazing job with this book. The plot flows quickly and smoothly and the reader is turning the pages at a break neck pace. The reader wants to know what has been happening to the characters and is instantly rooting for them to have a HEA. There is no other outcome in their minds. Jace and Peyton belong with each other, but it just might take a little time for them both to realize it.

This book is full of emotion, twists, turns and loops and will keep the reader guessing as to what may happen next. There is nothing predictable about this story and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Grab this one and the previous 2 in the series and you won't regret it at all!!

Payton and Jace!!!!! I was happy to see that Payton and Jace were getting another book. I've loved getting to know these characters and their love story. They've grown soooo much since I met them in Pieces of Me, especially Payton. It was great to see them succeeding and their dreams coming true. I again really liked the song lyrics leading into the chapters and getting both POV's. One thing I would say is that I felt this book was a little rushed. I was sad that it started out with them not together and of course I wanted them to find their way back to each other. But I felt like once we hit that part it all happened way too quickly. That Jace needed to earn her trust back and work for it. Payton barely held out and I didn't feel like that was true to the characters and their story. Again I wanted them back together and am happy it all worked out but I just wanted more from their reunion. I do hope that we get to revisit Payton and Jace again, maybe we see them again in the other band members stories? I'd love to get Noah's story.

I put off reading The Foundation Series for as long as possible. I fell head over heels in love with characters from a previous series and just didn't want to let go. I eventually did, and now I'm totally in love with Peyton and Jace. I loved the struggles of Peyton in Pieces of Me, was finally able to get into Jace's head in The Fighter, so I liked him more than in the first book, which wasn't a whole lot. Well, Jace became a man in The Road Back to Us! Jace and Peyton have grown up, but both still have vulnerabilities that they manage to work through. Not that they really have a choice, but that's a mystery that you'll just have to read it to find out, since I don't do spoilers. I can envision a little novella about how that whole thing went down (hint, hint).

Kira Adams has written yet another winner. If she writes it, you should read it. With each book she writes, she just gets better.

I have been a huge fan of Kira Adams since the release of her first book, I can never wait for her next book to come out. This was definitely not different, this is one of my favourite series ever and definitely my favourite Kira Adams series (to say ii read hundreds of books this is definitely high praise).
The Road Back To Us follows the lives of Jace Austin and Peyton Lane who we met in both books one and two, to fully understand this book reading this first is advisable.
I fell in love with Peyton from the off, she has her issues but she shows strength and determination to overcome obstacles. TRBTU looks at the obstacles the couple need to overcome together. They both have their careers which pull them in opposite directions, can they really find the road back to each other?
There are many a twist and turn for the couple along the way, and as is life, nothing is ever easy.
As always, I look forward to seeing what this talented author comes up with next.

This is a Contemporary Romance and I absolutely loved it. One of the things I loved about this series is how realistic the characters and their issues are throughout each book. The author has created something that anyone can relate to and it's a fast paced read. You won't want to put it down because something is always happening from one moment to the next. This book continues to follow Peyton and Jace along their journey to stardom. Along the way they seem to fall apart and experience some surprising situations. Something interesting about this author is that the chapters alternate between story and song lyrics. Which is a very interesting and cool way to move the story along in a different way. It allows us to really get into Peytons head. I did feel that the ending was a little rushed and that could've been paced more slowly, but other then that I really recommend this book. Especially to people that like Contemporary books.

I love this story about Peyton and Jace.

I am having a hard time with this review because I feel like I actually KNOW Peyton and Jace and it was more keeping up with their life than reading a book. As most of Kira's stories, they are so well written that they feel "real".

The Road Back to Us is written in joint POV (my personal favorite) so you get to feel and understand everything through both characters. Peyton and Jace both quickly came into fame in their own ways, Peyton with her band and Jace with his acting career, and while they both got what they wanted they lost their relationship.

This is a story or second chances and first loves that never truly go away. A great continuation of the Foundation series.

Oh my gosh, I seriously love these characters! (Especially Jace!) Each book and throughout their journey I have been hooked! Seriously what a journey it's been :)
This book does not disappoint, and will keep you reading until the end.

Both Peyton and Jace are on the road in this instalment, Peyton doing what she loves with music, and Jace acting in a "twilight" like series (book series into film not sparkly vamps!)
I don't want to give to much away, but expect kidnap, stalkers, and the fact that these two actually break up..... Brilliant read.
Once again as expected, brilliantly written, fantastic follow up to the previous books and I'm so pleased that we have a conclusion to Peyton and Jace :)
Would definitely recommend as a "goodread"

Loved it! It was perfect! I loved how they came together in the story. I loved how it ended, there was just the right amount of drama happening and the romance and the connection that I felt in book 1 was back. I felt like both characters were back to how they started. It was awesome because I kinda fell in love with both of them again. I lost the connection in book 2, I actually thought that Jace was so different in the second book and somehow Peyton also lost me a bit there.
Also I have to say that I loved the lyrics to the songs which was the main thing I loved about book 1 and I'm so glad that the author went back to including them.
Well written, great characters, right amount of romance and HEA. Will def recommend!

I love Peyton and Jace.

Through this entire series Peyton and Jace have been through a lot. I love how this book stays true to the way Peyton and Jace have grown as a couple. They are constantly struggling with everyday life and new problems arise just as you think things just might be getting better. The Author does a great job at writing a quick pace novel without dragging anything out. There a lot of things that I loved about this book, the twists and turns, the music and overall the connection Peyton and Jace have with each other! I loved this entire series and could not get enough. Over all, I highly recommend this series! It's been a great read.

The battle between love, fame, and finding out where you belong is what this story is about. Peyton is off doing a musical tour and Jace is uber rich and famous doing movies. Everything is working out for them when they realize that something is missing. Before too long, a craze fan kidnaps Peyton for revenge on Jace. Jace is suppose to be engaged to his long time screen actress. This book ends in such a way that many questions are answered, but it could be opened up for more of a storyline. I loved this book and I was grateful that I was able to receive this book for an honest review from the author.

i enjoyed how fast paced the story was. it was surprising how many climaxes could go into one single book, unlike what i was used to. i wasn't too keen towards the glamorous lifestyle of celebrities, but i was pleased with Peyton showing a different side of her when she was with Jace. Jace on the other hand was a perfect star, his loyalty and protectiveness had me rooting for him until the very end. the book was a perfect end to the trilogy, giving it an ultimately satisfying happy ending that sent goosebumps up my spine.

This is the 3rd book in the series. It is not a standalone so if you haven't read the others you really need to. I really enjoyed this book. I love Peyton & Jace. Kira did a great job telling both sides of the story. I loved seeing how they deal with their struggles and the outcome. This is not a book you want to miss.
If Kira Adams writes a book you can pretty much guarantee that it is going to be a big hit! And she did not let us down with this one either!

Another amazing read by Kira Adams! I love this series and this was an amazing addition. Watching Peyton and Jace grow throughout the series is something to read. I like that the author doesn't do the expected with her books. There is always something to go "oh my god! I did not see this coming!" and her work is not read this done that, she keeps it unique.

Just finished the last book of this series. I have to say the first book was my favorite. And this last book was my least favorite. The story takes them further apart before bringing them together. I just wanted more together time with out so much drama. And several parts in this book that would have been nice to have enjoyed more were just skimmed over to get to the next event.

What a cute story! I've had The Road Back To Us on my kindle for a while now, but I haven't been able to get to it. I thought it was good, and I liked being able to catch up with Jace and Peyton. I'm happy that they found each other again. I've been following their story from the beginning, and I'm so glad that everything worked out the way it did! Even though Jace and Peyton's lives are extremely busy, I liked that they were able to set aside time for each other! This is a great addition to the series!
