The Power of Prophetic Prayer: Release Your Destiny is an outstanding book. Although I grew up in the church, praying is not something that is taught. You learn how to pray by repeating what you see. However, this book has helped me to understand that true power of prayer. I have always prayed "safe prayers", you know those "if it be your will or God if you see fit, would you please... ". This book teaches that our words have power. I have a new understanding of prayer

The Power of Prophetic Prayer teaches believers to embrace prayer as the multidimensional gift, power, and will of God that is available 'on earth as it is in heaven'. The prophetic prayer releases, in the believer, the ability to shift from former limited understandings to a place that accommodates the mind of the Spirit. I have been blessed to personally meet Kynan Bridges and was delighted to find him a man of humility, integrity, compassion, insight, and anointing. This book makes you want to pray! If prayer can alter the course of history, it can reshape your personal world and mine too. It helps us learn how to activate the will and purpose of God through spirit-led prayer and declaration.

Wow! What a phenomenal read! It took me so long to get through The Power of Prophetic prayer because so often I would have to stop, mid-read, and start praying and declaring things right on the spot! I believe this was a transformative, life-altering read that I highly recommend to all. Get your copy today!

This book is a must read for anyone who prays and wants to stir up prophetic praying. I appreciate the transparency of the author when he at times uses real life situations in which God challenged him with his prayers. In addition scripture is cited throughout the book which allows the reader to focus on what sayeth the Lord. Believe me this is a book that you will finish!

The Power of Prophetic Prayer by Kynan Bridges reminds us that the only way for us to connect with God is through prayer and prayer is a very powerful way. Prayer opens our spiritual being to the endless possibilities of God, and we have endless access to God. Through prayer we release the ambassadorial authority Christ gives us. Through prayer we bring about changes in peoples lives. We don't have to wait until we get to heave to have an intimate relationship with God, we can have it right now.
Kynan Bridges gives a lot of information regarding prayer, how to go to prayer, the importance of faith in prayer. He guides us in keeping the fire burning by pointing out that we need to be intentional about our prayer life, we need to meditate on the Word of God and we need to ask God to create in us a hunger for the things of God. The author points out Jesus gives us specific instructions on how to pray, “ enter into thy closet” (Matthew 6:6). The closet does not mean a room, it means a place of intimacy and disclosure. We are to acknowledge God as our Father, recognize that God is in heaven, glorify His name as holy, declare His kingdom will come on earth and in heaven. We are to ask for our daily needs, for forgiveness of sins, and forgive others. We are to pray for help in temptation and recognize God as the kingdom, power and glory. (Luke 11:2-4 and Matthew 6:9-13).
Bridges tells us to not just “pray in Jesus name”. We are to pray according to the character and nature of Jesus. We are to pray accoring to the Word of God. We are to rely completely on Jesus. We must approach God, knowing He alone is able. We are to thank God in advance and have faith and confidence that He has heard us rather than pray “if it is your will”. Bridges also reminds us that prayer is powerful and necessary. When we combine faith with prayer and fasting we get miracles, breakthrough and deliverance.
This book has so much information on prayer that to gain as much as you can from it, it will need to be read several times. Each chapter ends with Prophetic Prayer and Prophetic Insights making this book a good choice for a Bible Study on prayer. Different types of prayers, such as prayers for protection and intervention, are included as well.
I enjoyed reading this book. It is not a quick read but is very easy to understand. Scripture is used to reinforce the statement the author is making. This is a great book to use to build your prayer life. I have prayed and heard a lot on prayer but reading this book has really made me step back and take a look at my own prayer life.

"The Power of Prophetic Prayer: Release Your Destiny" by author Kynan Bridges is a 208 page paperback published by Whitaker House. This book is dedicated to teaching readers about prayer. It is biblically based and full of scriptural references. Author Bridges has done a great job. This is the first thing I have read by him and I found it very well written.
This is a well thought, organized, researched book on prayer. The author has a nice way of writing. His point is clear and there is no misinterpreted his point. This is an easy book to understand even though the material is not simple. The book tells readers of the extreme importance of prayer and stresses this is our way to communicate or connect to God. Author Bridges points out the power of prayer, how we should and should not pray, and reviews the different types of prayers. He explains about the power of prayer and fasting, what it can accomplish. He writes how to go about praying, where to pray and what to say. Author Bridges has divided his book into 15 chapters. Each one deals with a different aspect of prayer and ends with a prophetic prayer. It also has questions and activities to help readers better understand the information that was just presented.
There is a multitude of information on prayer in this book. Some of it is familiar and really nice to hear again from his point while other information is from a new perspective. Any Christian will benefit from this book. This would be wonderful in a church library. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their prayer life or to anyone wanting to have a group study on prayer. I rated it a 4 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed this book because it talked about a subject that for some is hard to understand. I grew up in a church and I was not really introduced to prophetic prayer. When I became older I found a church that taught on the subject. This book delves deep into prophetic prayer that helps you understand just how powerful it is. I love the way the author is very precise and even gives you prayers at the end of several chapters to help you get a deeper understanding of it. I appreciate the author writing a book that is exceptional on the subject and very easy to comprehend.
The book is very easy to follow and can be a great tool for anyone wanting to have a deeper prayer life. It's funny how I have prayed for years, even thinking I was doing prophetic prayer the right way. . After reading this book, I can say I now understand how to effectively pray in the prophetic and feel comfortable doing it. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to go deeper in their prayer life.

The Power of Prophetic Prayer by Kynan Bridges is an excellent book on the purpose, power and necessity of prayer in the believer's life. His message is well thought out, clearly expressed and supported by Scripture and personal experience. Each of the 15 chapters deals with different aspects of prayer and ends with a prophetic prayer, several questions and practicums to help the reader gain insight into and personally apply the chapter's content. Bridges has given believers a highly informative and encouraging exhortation to pray intentionally and consistently, and to recognize that prayer is not a religious ritual but a powerful means of communion with a God who wants to work miracles in and through His children.

If you need a deeper prayer life and a better understanding of the power of the Holy Spirit, then The Power of Prophetic Prayer is the avenue walk to take to increasing your relationship, spiritual awareness, focusing your destiny, and being a conduit for others. We have authority through Jesus Christ to bind the evil that try to suppress us. You will become stronger by understanding His power. If I may quote an excerpt from Pastor Bridges in his book; "You must understand that you and I were created for the presence of God. As new covenant believers, we were ordained to commune with the Father in the place of prayer and intercession on a regular basis." God can and always will answer prayer. We just have to be in communication with Him.

I was very excited to read this book. I feel God taking me to a new level in my walk with Him and I felt this book could help take me to this new level and after reading it I think I was right.
This is an extremely powerful book. Kynan takes you through many aspects of prayer. He doesn’t only talk about prophetic prayer but the importance of prayer in general and the power that we have when we pray.
I definitely think we don’t put enough importance on prayer. It is a direct connection to God and the power He desires to give to us.
If you want to revolutionize your pray life and you feel you need a wake up call this book will do that.

When my son laid in a hospital bed, and the doctors were not hopeful, and Christians started praying, and within hours, it all changed. Or the niece who was told she had to have major kidney surgery, and with diligent prayer, her situation changed, and she was healed. It is faith and believing.

The Power of Prophetic Prayer: Release Your Destiny, by Kynan Bridges, is a powerful book. It opens the doors to changing a person's prayer life. I have not read a book that has touched my prayer life like this one will. It shows the power that prayer has and how it allows God to be here as well as in heaven.
I recommend this book highly and be prepared to have your life changed in the most powerful way.

This book was a wonderful eye opening experience. The Power of Prophetic Prayer:Release your Destiny opens up a whole new way to pray. I grew up in the church and went every Wednesday night and Sunday twice but was never taught to pray. You just bowed your head and were to be able to talk to God. I always thought that I was missing something in prayer. This book gives you a guide on how to really pray. Shows us how are prayers are powerful. This is a must read for those who want to become closer to God through prayer.

Thanks be to God and to Pastor Bridges for writing this book. Each time I put it down I had to pick it up again. I will never pray from the outer realm again. Why pray to Heaven when I can pray from Heaven. I will use this book as a study guide and a reminder of who I am in Christ. My life will never be the same in Jesus name!

Prayer truly changes things. Understanding yourself and how to communicate with God is the answer. The Power of Prophetic Prayer: Release Your Destiny helped me to have a deeper relationship and prayer life with God. I don't get as stressed like I used to about problems and situations that I think I cannot handle because I know when I go to God in prayer, He will be right there.
