Bunny loves to read! An outdoor story time at the Library caught his attention one day and he’s been hooked ever since. But as soon as the weather turned cooler, story time moved indoors. How was Bunny going to hear the stories now? Something has to me done! He needs his books. So Bunny sets out on a Bunny book heist! The picture of him trying to break into the Library is hilarious. Haha….It looked hopeless at first. The Library was locked up tight until…wait! I won’t spoil the surprise for you.

Bunny loves the library and gets his friends get library cards.

Ben gives this one five stars mostly because it has a porcupine, which looked to him a lot like a hedgehog and he's a big fan of hedgehogs. But he was pretty into it even before the porcupine; the illustrations were great, the style different from his other books, and the story was very exciting for him. He spit up three times, and even started crying when the lights in the library suddenly came on... but we don't want to give anything away. This is a great picture book for anyone who loves libr ...more

I loved it from the first page to the last. The illustrations were such fun and the story perfect.
Bunny's Book Club by Annie Silvestro is absolutely adorable and the illustrations by Tatjana Mai-Wyss are gorgeously cute and colourful. If you love animals and libraries as much as I do, then I highly recommend it. It's a children's picture book, but I'm pretty sure we all have an inner child ^.^

And look at how cute this checkout card is:

This book is charming. The illustrations are lovely, and the story about animals sneaking into the library to form a book club is original and engaging! I love this as a read aloud!!!

Be still, my librarian heart. A picture book about cute critters sneaking into the library through the book drop because they love reading? Yes, please!

Bunny listens to the stories the librarian reads as she sits on the steps for library story time. Like they do for many children, books allow Bunny to imagine himself on great adventures. But when the weather gets chilly and story time moves inside, Bunny misses the books so much he can't even sleep! This adorable book follows Bunny as he discovers a secret way into the library...and brings his book-loving forest friends along for the adventure of a lifetime. A perfect read-aloud for little book ...more

This is one of the cutest picture books I've seen! Bunny falls in love with books while listening in to storytime at the library. But when storytime moves inside at the end of summer he must find a way to get access to more books. So, he finds a way to get into the library and borrow books. Soon all his animal friends notice he's not around as much and one by one bunny introduces them to the library. The illustrations are just beautiful and the story is so cute and illustrates a love of reading ...more
Ahhhhh! So cute!! A bunzo loves to listen to storytime when it's held outside during the summer, but once it gets a little chilly the librarian moves it back inside. Jonesing for some stories, the bunny hops into the book drop after hours and starts reading reading reading. More animals join in, but eventually the get busted by the librarian who gets them all library cards! This would be a really fun book to use for a class visit where we're distributing library cards, and it also puts the idea ...more

Who wouldn't love a book about a bunny starting a book club. Bunny loves books so much that it causes sleepless nights when books aren't being read. I loved the fact that this bunny shared books and encouraged the other animals to read. There was one thing that I didn't like, when Bunny broke into the library and stole some books and brought friends along for the mission. All was made right with a forgiving librarian who issued library cards to all. This was a fun book and a great addition to st ...more
The illustrations and story are perfectly, heart-warmingly adorable. Bunny loves books and listening to outdoor storytime, but he isn’t sure he’s allowed in the library to get books of his own. Once the season changes and storytime moves inside, he misses it and, yearning for books to read at home, breaks into the library to get himself some. So cute! Painfully cute! I loved this.
This is all kinds of adorable. I grinned from.the first page to the last.

A bunny finds out he can get into the library after hours via the book drop. He enlists a crew of animals to essentially steal books so they can enjoy them in his rabbit burrow. Fortunately, the librarian discovers the crew and gets them all library cards and teaches them about borrowing. Really cute illustrations and a great introduction to the purpose of a library - sharing!

A cute book about loving to read, but there are so many books like this. The pictures sure are purdy, though.
An adorable story about animals sneaking into the library at night, through the book drop, to borrow the books that they love.

What a sweet story about a bunch of animals who discover the joys of reading, and reading together! The illustrations are beautiful and the message great; books are amazing and can take you anywhere!
Have I been around the picture book block too many times? I know librarians in particular love this sort of thing, but there isn't anything really new to me about animals sneaking into a library to pretend to read books. Because animals can't read. Yeah, I'm a jerk. So sue me. ...more
