Berlin: funky, modern, brimming with history and absolutely full of surprises for tourists to discover. But with so many of its delights secreted away or lost to sight amid the crowd, why leave it to chance? This hip and modish little book plucks out Berlin’s hidden gems and lays them out in an easy-to-read, entertaining guide perfect for tourists and curious locals alike. Steph, The Book Grocer
I would give this book 3.5 stars but can't give a half. The book is beautifully designed and has some nice little gems in it. What let's it down is the lack of detail about each place/shop/restaurant and how few places in each area are mentioned due to the structure of the book with tours of areas. I'd have preferred more options for each area such as different boutique hotels and cafes. Overall I feel this really scratched the surface of what Berlin has to offer.
