Revival Hubs Rising: Revealing a New Ministry Paradigm for the Next Great Move of God

Revival hubs. Apostolic centers. Houses of prayer. Kingdom centers. Glory hubs. There are many different ways to describe the emerging model of church-as-we-have-never-known-it, but all of them break the traditional Sunday morning mold—and they all have at least one thing in they are rising up out of intercession from hearts desperate for more of God. What is a revival hub? That’s a question many are asking in this hour as God breathes on this ministry model. As we mentioned in chapter one, revival hubs are emerging and evolving and take on different flavors—and not everyone uses the term revival hub. Again, some call them apostolic centers, houses of prayer, missions bases, kingdom centers, glory hubs and so on. Although you don’t see the term revival hub in the Bible, it’s a new wineskin—or perhaps better called a resurrection of the original model of church—that is clearly presented in the Book of Acts. Here is our definition of a revival a center that is focused on digging and maintaining a rich well of revival and Spirit-led ministry unto equipping, awakening and societal transformation. A revival hub is a base of tactical operation, organization, and deployment. Father is placing men and women in small towns and big cities to dig deep wells of revival and refreshing. He is establishing ministries that will, when they mature, serve as a hub of awakening in their region, where people come and go to get refreshed and equipped. Radical revivalists whose heart cry is to see a Third Great Awakening will steward divine outpourings in revival hubs. The vision is not merely to build a ministry that blesses people but to release the spiritual destiny of a city or region, host the presence of God, and facilitate a radical transformation in hearts and minds that ultimately changes the spiritual climate. Think about it for a minute. What would it look like if a group of people gathered in unity and holiness to cry out to the Lord? What would it look like if people in your region began to share the gospel with signs and wonders following? What would it look like if the church in your region was alive and fully awake to the spirit realm? What would it look like if God was encountering people in your region and drawing them to salvation? We submit to you that it would look much different than it does now.

Great primer for praying in revival!

This book was recommended by a friend, so I got it and started reading it right away. Although it is not a difficult read, it is meaty. Only 15 chapters long,I could have read it in a few hours, but I limited myself to a chapter or two a day, so I could digest it better.

The authors combine the counsel of the scriptures, along with personal experience to help those interested in facilitating a move of God know what it looks like, how to cultivate an atmosphere conducive to one and how to sustain it.

I am a professional proofreader, so I spotted more typos than you find in the average publication. It may be just because the book I had was in electronic form. There were more than a few times I had to reread something the didn’t make sense for that reason.

Nevertheless, I recommend this publication for those who want to see a city, state or region transformed by the gospel and the Holy Spirit.

This book literally put into words what the Lord has been speaking to me about for the last 2-3 years.
