The Revelation is Jim Reilly’s follow-up to his science fiction novel, Evolution. In The Revelation cloaked Ancient Visitors plan man’s future enslavement for a menacing purpose. Two groups, one in the present and one a thousand years in the future, investigate a conspiracy thousands of years in the making. In the present, Jennifer and David Cho’s son Cameron’s investigation uncovers a plot to continue what Bishop Terapion started. In the future, Steven Moran and his team combat the mysterious Prince and the Ancient Visitor armada heading for Earth.
The present and future look at scripture for clues as they learn the battle is bigger than all of them. Religion and science are once again at the forefront and must work together to overcome the Ancient Visitors. Not only are the people Earth in peril, but the whole universe is in jeopardy of eradication from existence. The present and the future discover shrouded secrets full of mystery needed to be solved to save mankind, but will it be too late?
The Revelation explores mankind’s resolve to fight for its future. Will mankind’s fight be successful or will the Ancient Visitors succeed in enslaving mankind to supplement their army used for a battle for the heavens? Jim Reilly’s Evolution explored mankind's roots. The Revelation explores where we are going from here.
Jim Reilly is a new science fiction novelist. He is a married father of four, born and raised in Long Island. In 2009, he finished an MBA program during which his professors gave accolades to his writing prowess. Upon graduation, Jim was caught up in the economic recession, and was laid off from his corporate position. Jim’s wife suggested that he should write the book he had long envisioned, and he did.
From an early age, Jim always had a fascination with science, religion, and science fiction to a point that it became a passion of his. Now he enjoys putting that passion to paper. He has already penned his second sci-fi book and is working on his third.
Riveting, compelling, and fascinating are the first three words that come to mind after reading Jim Reilly’s EVOLUTION: THE REVELATION. The author tells a haunting story of the origin of the species, the impact of Heaven and Hell, and man’s future on the planet Earth. Two separate casts of characters hold the reader in suspense as the author navigates between the 21st and 31st centuries. A gripping tale of conflict between religion and science, good and evil, and man versus alien is masterfully told.
An interesting and unique story taking the reader on a journey through time as the characters battles the ultimate evil for the fate of mankind. The Revelation takes on the decisive battle for man, the Earth, and the universe, yet it doesn't sway from a grounded character driven story. It keeps you guessing as to what direction the story will take you. I read the first book, Evolution. This story stands on its own and in my opinion, written better. I liked The Revelation; it was a great read!
