Good introduction to French grammar, covers almost everything and is well explained to native English speakers, assuming no previous knowledge. As a grammar book and not a regular textbook the chapters are done by part of grammar, so can be a bit frustrating without some kind of background in latin languages or accompanying vocabulary. Does omit two verb tenses which have generally fallen out of verbal usage. Overall a solid grammar book, recommendable.
