I attended this class knowing very little about flower designing. I was amazed at what I learned everyday in school. Multiple classes every day, all the flowers, tools and containers provided. I don't know how they get away with giving away so much material! It was a joy. Michael Gaffney's classes are just a delight. I highly recommend it.
I learned more from you-tube than the book. It’s mostly about him with few specific tips or new usable information. the Flower Power templates look interesting but again little specific info.
The pictures are very inspiring but there’s not much instructions on the design. I guess I’ll have to take his class for more detail on that. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this book
thx..... what a gorgeous book . I own many floral books as I work in the business part time This book filled in all the missing spots . Its a nice editorial,, coffee table book but most importantly a "how to" book for all flower lovers . .Id like to attend American School of Flower Design where Michael Gaffney teaches but until then I scored this. Its just a really big, full, helpful book for accomplishing good design,,, easy breezy . I wish it had more info on Michael but there is plenty of his theory on design an "a plus" Fower Power is an apt title. I own his book Design Star which I love as well but this is my favorite so beautifulI learned allot. ..thx Michael
