I'm definitely the minority here because while everyone seems to love this book, I'm more like

I wanted to really like this one but it just wasn't there. I never felt the love between both H/h and I hate that. Their relationship never felt like a relationship and Reese spends 90% of the book talking about leaving or trying to leave. It also ends as a HFN since she's a huge flight risk.

Logan is closed off and undecided about what he wants with Reese and I prefer that my H show he wants his h wel

I want to hang out with Delores Fossen. I absolutely love her. What a versatile writer! She can leave me biting my nails with her romantic suspense stories and laughing out loud with her contemporary romance. Especially her McCord Bros. series. I adore them all but I think her newest, Blame It On The Cowboy, may be my favorite.

Logan McCord, CEO of McCord Cattle Brokers, was not considered wild. He'd never done anything to tarnish the family name. But when he walks in on his girlfriend Helene, t

BLAME IT ON THE COWBOY is a very enjoyable, entertaining and well-written mix of romance, passion, sweetness and drama, with lots of hilarious moments. Honestly, I would love to know what was going through Ms. Fossen's mind during her research for this book because she apparently takes her research very seriously. Some of the descriptions were so funny, I found myself erupting into laughter several times, which makes this a winner, in my opinion.

Terrific conclusion to the McCord Brothers series. This is the story of Logan, the oldest brother (by a few minutes). In previous books we have seen him as the serious, conservative, rather stick-in-the-mud brother, who keeps tight control of his emotions. He's had a long relationship with a woman named Helene, who he sees as the perfect accompaniment to his well-planned future. At the beginning of this book he is ready to propose marriage to her, and enlist the help of his family to make it mem ...more

If you happen to be in the mood for a few chuckles while you read this is a great book for you. Personally I love reading stories that give me the "chuckles" and Delores Fossen's humor in this story provides plenty of them. You have a tumor named Myrtle and a backpack named Tootsie Roll. When the heroine, Reese Stephens, aka Julia Child quit her job she told her boss, chef Dante she wished someone would crush his balls with a rusty garlic press. And when Reese's best friend, Jimena Martinelli sa ...more

The day Logan McCord was going to surprise his long-time girlfriend with a marriage proposal was the day he walked in on her having sex with some clown. He drove the 30 miles from Spring Hill Texas to San Antonio to get drunk and try to forget. In the bar, there is also a pretty woman – so not his type! – also trying to drown her sorrows. They’re both pretty drunk, and she’s the one who suggests one night of sex with no strings attached, no names; nothing but sex. When Logan wakes up the morning ...more

Blame it on the Cowboy⭐⭐⭐⭐ written by Delores Fossen

When Logan McCord walked in on his girlfriend, of ten years, planning to propose to her was the surprise on him. He was accompanied with family and friends only to witness Helene engaging in sex with a clown.

This sent Logan on a binge. He left Spring Hill, Texas for San Antonio and found himself drinking alone in a bar. Logan meets a girl at the bar that is equally smashed and with her own agenda. They have a night of ho

One of my favorite stories by Ms Delores Fossen yet.
This book had it all. The romance, the tasteful sex scenes, action, suspense, and a little bit of intrigue. Oh yeah and some amazingly hot cowboys.
Reese Stephens is not having the best week. So her choice is to complete the items on her bucket list which includes having sex with a hot cowboy. And in comes Logan McCord. But when that one night stand comes to completion and she heads back home her doctor shows up at her door to give her so

I really enjoyed Blame It On the Cowboy. I haven't read many books by Delores Fossen but the ones that I did I really liked. After reading both Blame It On the Cowboy and Lone Star Nights I know that I will be keeping her on my auto-buy list from now on.

Up this time it's Logan McCord's turn. After a painfully episode in his life (you've got to read the book to understand. No giveaways here, okay, there is a giveaway with the tour but I was talking about information giveaways) he goes

Ms Fossen is a very talented writer indeed who brings laughter & romance in her books. I love the humor that she inserted in the story but I gave it 4 stars because I absolutely hate romance stories that have hero or heroine obsessed/hurt by an ex. It destroys the story for me as it makes my mind wonder about the past relationship and takes from the story unfolding. I want my Hero & heroines heart free. That's just my personal preference, but all in all, this books was funny and sweet. Y ...more

Delores Fossen lets loose on some hometown fun and a fair amount of drama in book three of her McCord Brothers series, Blame It On The Cowboy. When a drunken one night stand brings together two of the most unlikely people, both in crisis, neither party expects to meet up again and actually feel an attraction to the other when sober and with their eyes wide open. As every shoe possible drops in this book, including clown shoes, and the word secret seems to not exist in the vocabulary of the town ...more

Logan and Reese...hold on for a wild ride...
I love this series. Delores Fossen is one of my new favorite authors. I want to live in Spring Hill Texas. What a crazy bunch of people. Great series. Smartly written and funnier than hell.
Brilliantly read by Kaleo Griffith.

I thought this was OK, but didn't like Logan or Reese as much as I thought I would. I didn't really buy in to their romance. The ending was convoluted (even the characters talk about how complicated "the plan" is) and I'm still confused. Not my favorite of the series, but I did like the first two books.

This is definitely a case of opposites attract, which Fossen does well. I love this author and how she makes me react, be it laughing, crying cursing the characters or swooning at the romantic gestures, she always pulls a strong reaction from me. The plot of this novel was original, while still maintaining the essence of a small town romance. I love how vivid everything was. Fossen's beautiful descriptions combine with her intensely fulfilling storytelling for an unforgettable tale that you can't miss out on.

Two people who feel like they have lost everything make a connection. It was supposed to be for one night. Circumstances change and Reese goes looking for Logan. When they meet again, the attraction is still there burning hot. Pasts come back to haunt both and try to pull them apart. For a woman who constantly moves, Reese feels almost like she can stay in this one place and Logan is determined to move forward with her. A quick easy read that is sure to bring a smile, and more than just a few moments of laughter. The story is fun and quirky and filled with hilarity that is true to the writing style of Ms Fossen.

A great continuation of the McCord Brothers series! Logan and Reese were great together. Logan is serious and Reese brings him out of his funk. Reese is a sweetheart and really has no idea what a wonderful person she is. I hope this isn't the end to Spring Hill.

Delores Fossen nailed it once again with 3 stories in this series of the McCord brothers. Riley, Lucky, and Logan. They couldn’t be more different but they each stole a piece of my heart fighting for the women they love and the lives they each want to lead. Spring Hill, TX is a small town full of characters who love to gossip about each other all the while adding spins to the truth to make for a fun and heartwarming town. After a family tragedy, Logan easily falls into place taking over the fami ...more

I really did not enjoy this book. It started out great and showed a lot of potential. I was invested in Logan and Reese's story and was interested in seeing how they end up meeting back up after they have a one-night-stand without names. Reese finds out she's not dying, so she goes looking for Logan to get her grandfather's watch back. Only Logan finds her suspicious, given her con-artist parents and past, so he keeps her at arms length for a while. But there's no denying their attraction. And t ...more

Well written and enjoyable.
Grabbed this from my library after this book was discussed by one of my author groups.
The part about the clown and the nearly fiancée was quite humorous. Sad for Logan at the time but he was much better of with Reece.
Boy hasn’t Reece had one hell of a life. Really liked her even with her constant pans to leave. Slightly understandable.
Logan was a bit of a dick at times but this was understandable too.

This is the third book in the McCord Brother's Series. I adored the entire series. This was Fossen's first series I read that wasn't suspenseful and it keep me turning the pages just like the rest of her work normally does!

The McCord brother's all are unique in their own way. They each play a different role in the family business. Logan is the oldest and has always tried to carry the family on his back. Logan I think is my second favorite of the brother's. Lucky was my favorite. Reese and Logan

I couldn’t put it down

Logan and Luke, identical twins. Luke already met his match. But Logan was stuck in a runt, until he walked in on his longtime girlfriend with (none less than) a clown. Red nose in a place it shouldn’t have been. And so topical male heads for the bar to drink away his anger, entrance of beautiful female drowning her sorrow of up coming death, and checking off her bucket list.
