A LEGO-based version of a recent STAR WARS film, it explores a superficial version of the tale, complete with explanations of some key characters. From Rey to BB-8, Finn to Poe, the story comes alive and new readers are able to light a spark of interest in all that the magical story has to offer. While only a brief summary, I suspect that it could help trigger an interest in the larger and more adult-based series for young people. I do hope Neo will develop an interest, for there is nothing like revisiting the early movies and seeing the progression over time.

The Lego Star Wars books continue to be a joy. This young Readers edition tells the story of The Force awakens with all the Lego versions of the characters Rey looks fierce, Bb-8 is the cutest as a Lego as is Finn and sexy Poe with some chin stubble! The story is very close to the movie with some editing of the scary bits. Such a fun read. Beware however you will want to run to the Lego shop afterwards

I would give this book four stars just for the title cover, it is really cute. I say this in the most masculine way that it is Cute. It is like when you see a puppy, the word just comes to mind. This book includes many Lego versions of Star Wars. It gave me a run down of episode one and because I have never seen Star Wars it enlightened me. One of the best books I have ever read since I have been in this children's literature class.

These are great books for lego & Star Wars lovers who are around 1-2nd grade reading level. Logan really likes any of these! He especially likes the quizzes at the end.

Surprisingly good and mostly 3-year-old-friendly retelling! The lego star wars guys are pretty cute. Way better than some of the other star wars kid books.

A bit better than the others - probably because I don’t know the story as well as the other movies. This summer we plan to watch them.
