This collection mixes the realities of the work with devotion so it probably isn't of interest or value to non-believers. Any Mormon who has served, is thinking of serving or knows someone has served a mission should really read it. Which is, pretty much, every Mormon. A bit U.S.-centric (although there are exceptions). I cannot say how much I treasure this book. Ever since I was young I've planned on serving a mission. This book was inspiring, heartfelt, and just absolutely wonderful.

It's a very spiritually uplifting book, as well. My testimony was greatly strengthened by reading these sisters' stories and hearing their own testimonies.

When I met the editor of this book we discovered that we'd served in neighboring missions, so I was naturally interested in reading her book. The book brought back a flood of memories and emotions. I highly recommend it to return sister missionaries as well as anyone who might be curious as to what mission life is like.

This is such a testimony building book! I really love all the stories that were shared and how much faith these women had! I am not sure I'll read it again, but I'm glad I stuck with it and finished!
