This book had the potential to be a 4 star read, alas it suffered from the need of a good editor! I enjoyed the brothers, and family dynamic, and the characters were likable. Alas there were SO many sub plots going on, SO many characters, and SO many time jumps, that I just started to skip to get it finished!
We had the We have the We have the and on top of ALL that we have side stories for almost all the brothers going on at the same time!!
It was a holy hell of a mess! If that author could tighten things up, and pare down the stories a bit more she could really make a name for herself!
Side note: I want to hear more about 6´5 350 lbs of muscle Noah..."hello tree..I'll be your monkey!!"
Second side note: Dear author, please never again in any book you write use the words "fat pussy" Like ever...thank you!

November 23, 2016This may be the quickest DNF I've ever had at 6%.
Potentially this could be a great story, but I'll never know because the writing irritated the shit out of me. The author's use of non-contracted words drove me up the wall. It not only affected the flow of the story but also made in feel extremely amateur and immature. Examples -
I have no idea why I am out here and not in my office with no one else in today.
"Thank God you are here," Rob says, and I know he is about to ask for a favor."
"I am not as big as Noah, but I am still muscled and cut."
"I am relieved for the company; I hop in my truck myself."
So, despite this being an ARC I can't force myself to carry on any longer.

This was actually quite good. I got passed the first scene with the ow as he had not met heroine yet. This guy was CRAZY for the heroine from the first time he saw her! He is growly, protective and he literally adores the ground heroine walks on. He is so sweet to the heroine and it's quite swoon worthy.(sigh) I liked the heroine too but I think Wyatt totally took over the story and I didn't mind!

When Wyatt Black is asked to pick up family friend Nellie from the airport, he wonders why he has not met the woman he has heard so much about. Seeing her, he knows she is his game changer. Nellie though is quite aware of Wyatt's reputation as the heartbreaker, he loves them and leaves them, no strings attached and good time to be had by all.
Wyatt goes about trying to change Nellie's mind about him, he changes is ways and starts his courtship to win Nellie's heart. Nellie knows she is taking a chance, but Wyatt feels right and she feels safe in his company. Throw in an obsessive ex, a family crisis, and revenge from another and you have all the elements of an exciting book.
This was really good. I think for Wyatt is is fairly instant that he knew Nellie was for him but he bided his time. Nellie is apprehensive about dating Wyatt, but once she gives him a chance he sweeps her off her feet. I thought the side plot lines were entertaining and cannot wait to read more in this series.

AWESOME!!!!! This story is long as hell, but it's complete with no cliffhanger. Lots of action. Lots of hot, dirty sex, and lots of raw emotion.
The author says Noah's story is next, but bump him. I want Toby and Kamara's story! That would make one, fascinating read!

People stop telling tales. This BOOK WAS NOT GOOD. I will try other books by this author but the writing was terrible, the flow was terrible and can I say again, this book was TERRIBLE!!

This was my first time reading blue sapphire LOVED IT!!! You've got a love a man who is devoted to his woman 100%. Wyatt definitely loves Nellie. And he would move heaven and earth to protect her and please her. This was really a lovely story. The story has the right amount of suspense mystery action and definitely the right amount of erotica!! I can't wait for the next installment. That one will be about Wyatt's brother Noah... The beast. I definitely advise you to get this one it's definitely a winner!! Five stars and two thumbs up. ;-)

"Wyatt the Heartbreaker" was an awesome novel. Although the hero, Wyatt Black was a 'womanizer', he was also waiting on his special woman so that made him perfect in this story me! As the eldest son Wyatt really took special care of his close-knit family. Then boom-- end walks in his destiny --- sassy Nellie! Their connection was a no-brainer from the very start and I loved that! Their love was powerful in this story with so many memorable characters and quotes, laughs and tears!
I am really looking forward to Noah and Bean's story now!

Gah! This was so hard rate. It came down to 3⭐️'s because it just went up and down

Up with me actually liking the characters
Down with too many characters, I just couldn't keep up with who was who (was it like 8 0r 9 brothers plus friends?)
Up with the action love a badass girl, a badass dude and badass brothers!
Down with all the vocal lovemaking (damn shut up!)
Up with the romance and lovemaking it was get you freak on central I loved it!
Down with being drawn to other characters stories too soon in the book.
Up because I do want to continue on with the series because of other characters in the book lol!
All in all a good read it was quick and entertaining enough to read more from Ms. Blue Saffire

There were parts I really liked:
The loving relationships between the brothers- family is everything to them
H protectiveness towards the h
H was a badass and did not play inside the law when taking out threats to the h or his family.
I liked both the H/h- there were some sweet moments between them
There were some OTT moments but I find those fun.
No cheating and H never abuses the h.
Negatives
The plot was choppy.
Events happened so fast and more explanation was needed.
The sex scenes were meh-erotic but not really sexy:
"delicious rod" "release my nut into her tight cave of heaven."
Or H's steel pipe
I will check out the next book if it features Noah.

This would have been an enjoyable read if the author tightened the story and focused on the romance. I seriously hated the last part where the Heroine was TSTL and put her pregnant self in harm’s way. Also, it was so ridiculous that she could overpower and kill 4 russian goons while being captured.. I also didn’t like the subplot with the Hero’s brother (Toby) whose wife and kid was kidnapped along with the heroine. I did not like the subplot of Noah (another H bro) who took so long to go after the girl he wanted.. not really alpha if he was a pussy who let the girl date other men

No. No. No. This author's writing style is just not for me. I couldn't even make it past 10%. Super clichéd, everyone is the most beautiful, most handsome, the best at what they do, hero speaks seven languages, she's model looking, and of course there is the colorism so prevalent in BWWM books (all the women are double and triple mixed)..and it's all done in first person narrative so that just makes it all seem exaggerated, boastful and ridiculous. Heroine starts off on the wrong foot with me, trying to check the hero (HER BOSS) after she was employed all of 2.5 seconds. Screech! Pump your brakes. I'm gonna need you to go back home, get your mind right and try again tomorrow. I just had zero interest in continuing.
Figured maybe it's just this book, so I tried to read Book 2. Same issue. Super sappy and cheesy. Dialogue is super corny. Gawd, no. I couldn't even make it 10 pages. HARD PASS!

January 10, 2016This is my second book by this author and I have all her books. I will be reading them all shortly.
I absolutely loved Wyatt and Nellie's story. When Wyatt saw what he wanted he went after her and he treated her like she was a goddess. He was there every step of the way for her when she has some life crisis to deal with. Nellie is no pushover she is a bad-ass and I love how she protects the family that she loves.
This was a fantastic romantic story which I enjoyed every second of reading. I was going to read the books in order but I just could not resist reading this one now. I cannot wait for Noah and Bean's story.

Wyatt and Nellie.. Oh, what a ride.
I was curios as to how, then excited about with butterflies and left crying in total awe. Gentleness and raw love were weaved into the characters talking through their situations and holding on strong to one another throughout. Knowing that sticking together knowing is the only way to remain whole.
There were some parts of this story I thought could be restructured and executed better. Still I loved Wyatt and Nellie's story.

Too much information about everything and anything. Too much inner dialogue. Being in Wyatt's brain was worse than talking to that annoying girl that just would not shut up! I should have gotten the hint because the synopsis just went on and on. However, sometimes I know that author's do not write the synopsis themselves, but have other people write them so I was willing to still give this book a try.

This book wasn't for me. I've read books by this author before and I have enjoyed them but this book wasn't for me. It also won't stop me from reading other work by her.
Nellie decides to move back to California after her relationship with Barry turns volatile. It is here where she reconnected with her "other family" and mainly Wyatt the oldest of the black brothers.
Wyatt, who loved to sleep around but isn't a heartbreaker(so he says) is caught with his pants down screwing a female in his truck (this is how we're introduced to him). The whole event just happens to be a set up by a female he used to mess around with.
After being recruited to pick nellie up from the airport he falls I to instalust and spends 4months on a celibate Chase to get her.
Why this book didn't work FOR ME (some of the drama)
Barry(excop with amazing connections), the abusive ex tracks her down in California, trashes her apartment has all intentions of taking her back (mind you this man has raped multiple woman, gotten out of court cases etc because of his connections) however after a couple hours of an azz whooping from Wyatt and POOF problem solved. easy peasy, no more Barry.
Nellie had no problem risking her life for her friends and family (even when she was pregnant) but the moment something happened to her she was a weak character shaking, crying and overall just a shell of a person. It was like getting whiplash. I wanted her to have the same confidence with herself.

First time reading this author, and I am so surprised I like this book. The author didn’t just give you a book full of sex, but a plot and a storyline that kept my interest.
Wyatt the playboy/heartbreaker finally fell for Nellie who always had a crush on him, but has heard all about his playboy ways. These two had my kindle ablaze when they finally hooked up. However, it was so much more than that. The Black family is that ride or die family of brothers that sticks together. They all sound yummy.
Overall, I want more of this family and can’t wait to read all the brothers. I was laughing, crying, turned on and happy reading Wyatt and Nellie’s story.
***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s definitely about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the stories you read. I hope this review was helpful.

The Black Brothers should be pretty interesting.... Enjoyed getting to know Wyatt and Nellie's story!
The only thing that bugged me just a bit is trying to fit the Black Brothers looks in my head. I mean Wyatt is what 6'3-6'4 235 or so? Not so bad with this guy but Noah... like what 6'5 350? that dude is huge! Nevertheless I worked it out :)

The blurb to this one intrigued me, however reading it not so much. Wyatt turned me off from the start with his man-whore ways. His getting caught at this truck actually made me laugh. The way that his attention turned to Nellie the next day came of very mercenary. I hated that Nellie had a crush on Wyatt for a long time. About the only good thing about that was that she knew about his man-whore ways, but she could do so much better. I gave up after 20%, didn't care to see how Wyatt would win over Nellie. In the end this one wasn't for me.

This was another book well done by Blue Saffire. I loved how Nellie is a fighter even when others underestimate her and Wyatt... he's every girl's wish come throught in a boyfriend and husband. All in all this was a great book and I'm excited to read Noah and Bean's story

Let me just say Blue Saffire just gained a new fan. I loved this 1st installment of the Brothers Black.
ALL the Black Brothers are F$#king SEXY. But, Wyatt has that something extra; he's confident without being cocky. Nellie is a heroine with dimension. I see a bit of myself in Nellie. I love the relationship between Wyatt and Nellie. It is a thing of beauty when a man acknowledges his other half - loving and protecting her so fiercely. He definitely holds his woman down. There were too many moments to name when my heart just melted over Wyatt. He is soooooo ALPHA, but in a good way. That tattoo and those piercings. Trust me ladies; you will love it!
The Black family is loving, caring, very loyal, and very protective of one another - just refreshingly heartwarming. By the way, a little spoiler...ALL of the Brothers have this SEXY tattoo. I really hope Noah's story is next in the series. BRAVO!
ALL the Black Brothers are F$#king SEXY. But, Wyatt has that something extra; he's confident without being cocky. Nellie is a heroine with dimension. I see a bit of myself in Nellie. I love the relationship between Wyatt and Nellie. It is a thing of beauty when a man acknowledges his other half - loving and protecting her so fiercely. He definitely holds his woman down. There were too many moments to name when my heart just melted over Wyatt. He is soooooo ALPHA, but in a good way. That tattoo and those piercings. Trust me ladies; you will love it!
The Black family is loving, caring, very loyal, and very protective of one another - just refreshingly heartwarming. By the way, a little spoiler...ALL of the Brothers have this SEXY tattoo. I really hope Noah's story is next in the series. BRAVO!

This is my first review in a while and wonder of wonders it's a good review. I ran across Wyatt the Heartbreaker on my kindle account and I thought I would try it. This books was good. I loved that Wyatt was so loving, protective, and decided. He really empowered Nellie while protecting her at the same time. I love that neither character was perfect, but they were perfect for each other. This is not your typical insta-love story; the whole book takes place over a year or so. It is also not a short book it was longer than I expected, which was a nice change. There were times in the book where I thought things were resolved and it was ending, but it was worth the read to the last page.
My only criticism of the book is that the reader gets to see glimpses of the other brother's love stories and how they resolve (or at least I think so). So, that did not leave me eager to run to pick up the next book to see what happened with those characters.
I will warn readers that the kindle version of the book did have some errors. I noticed misspelled words and that it could have done with more editing. If you are an English teacher and those things make it hard to read, be warned. I would say the overall story was well with the few mistakes I noticed.
This is definitely and author I look forward to reading other works from.

I liked Wyatt after the truck incident (that's what I called it cuz it was *ugh nasty)
I Loved Wyatt and Nellie together and the story was actually really good but..

Wow! I don't know why it took me so long to read this one...but just Wow! My sister told me to "read it already, you won't be disappointed"...she was right! I FREAKING LUUUURRRVVVEE this book! Wyatt and Nellie *sigh* so perfect for each other *cue the violins*, Lol...Wyatt did what he had to do to prove his love for Nellie and I loved that he did the damn thing and is her rock, her protector, her everything! Just so freaking good! I honestly couldn't find any fault with him or Nellie and the Black family is beyond awesome 🥳 They are close and they are about that life, if you mess with them or their family be ready to face the consequences, Lol. Just a stupendous, fantastic, marvelous, awesome, filled with humor, love, sex scenes so hot, action and best of all, a HEA! 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Author's style reminds me of Jordan Silver, especially this book it gave me Jordan Silver vibes!
I liked the story of Wyatt the womanizer who was just waiting for the right girl to come along and best of all, she didn't fit the perfect scenario of shapely, long legged stalker. I think that is what made this book more appealing.
Wyatt was sexy, protective and straight alpha!
I liked the fact that Nellie was vulnerable, smart and capable of protecting herself.
The relationship between the brothers was wonderful and added another good factor to the book.
