No promises. No fake tomorrows. That was the plan.

New city. New life. At least, that’s what nineteen-year-old Jen Harrison believes. On the surface, she’s living her dream: dancing in a prestigious dance company in Paris. But her sister’s death and the mistakes she’s tried to bury haunt her. She’s become a pro at hiding who she truly is, and she definitely doesn’t want a

description

Love in B Minor is an awesome addition to the series, and it is close to being my favorite of the series, though this one diverges in a big way from the 2 previous stories… beginning with the fact that this book falls within the New Adult genre, due to the age of the protagonists, while the previous stories were well within the Young Adult genre. It is also different when you read about a character that you’re already fond of, and Jen – after a less stellar start in A Summe

You have no idea how excited I was about this book. I loved the previous books and novellas from the Broken Dreams series and because I already knew Jen I couldn’t wait to finally read a story about her. When I first read A Summer Like no Other I really didn’t like Jen because she was a mean girl and a unlikeable character but in Always Second Best it was possible to see why she acted that way so I wa

Everyone has an agenda. Everyone is always looking for something more.

First of all don't get deceived with this cute cover, this story is anything but cute.
I can't say I enjoyed it really very much, but it was an ok YA book. About chasing your dreams and coming to terms with you actions and their consequences.

"Sometimes letting people in is also another way

Well, I am kind of in love with this book. Now, at least. A few weeks ago, I might have told you how difficult it was and how I wondered if I would ever get it right.
I think I did. Jen & Lucas have my heart. And I can't wait for you all to read it.
It is available for pre-order for only $0.99...

This is the 3rd book I've read by Elodie Nowodazkij (after A Summer like no other and Always Second Best), and I was really looking forward to reading it, because Elodie's writing is just incredible.
She has this talent for creating characters that are both real and that you can't help falling in love with. Jen and Lucas were no exceptions! I loved every page of their growing love story...

I received this book from Goodreads.

Love in B Minor wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. With the corny title and pink cover... I mean, I couldn't help but assume the worst.
Luckily for me it wasn't the sappy. terribly written cliche I first judged it for. It is actually very mature. It touches boldly on the subject of drugs, regret, and loss.
Nineteen year old Jen is living in Paris and fighting her demons and grief with dancing and perseverance.
Lucas is the rockstar with the badboy per

Love in B Minor was intriguing and sweet. This story had just about everything - death, betrayal, a psychotic character, romance, music, emotion. Who knew?!?! I was completely taken aback. By the time I finished reading, my mind was reeling. All I know is that Lucas and Jen had quite a whirlwind relationship that was full of interesting challenges.

Love In B Minor
By: Elodie Nowodazkij
Narrated by: Kasi Hollowell

Elodie Nowodazkij is a new to me author and I will happily be checking out more of her work. She has a way with words and a wonderful writing style. Her storylines are interesting, the grabbed me right from the start and captivated me to the very end. Her characters are complex and well developed, they are also realistic and it was easy to relate to what they were going through

First, I have to start off by stating that I got this book free of charge in exchange for a review, but as I always state, this does not in any way impact my review. My reviews are always honest and my own.

I liked the writing style and it’s allusions to ballet, and luckily it wasn’t overdone, which meant that the story flowed well and quickly.

I really liked the two main characters and how they were both going through quite similar things, with Jen dealing with the death of her younger sister and

I received a copy of this book as part of a goodreads giveaway. All opinions are my own.

I loved Jen and Lucas. Their pain mirrors one another and they share a lot of the same experiences. Granted Lucas's pain more severe than Jen's because he lets the betrayals from his ex affect his judgement when it comes to his relationship with Jen. But they are so good together and liked all the time they spent together. The sort of mystery of leaked information and pictures was a trip, if not a bit predict

This is the first book i have read by this author. I won this book via a Goodreads giveaway.

Realizing this is the third book in a series, I was somewhat at loss in the beginning but i quickly filled in the gaps.

I enjoyed Ms. Nowodazkij's clear and clever writing style. I could easily follow the story, the subplots, and third party relationships.

I just started the 1st book in this series and have high hopes of enjoying it as much as i did this one.

Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved the setting of this book. I’ve been to Germany and lived vicariously through my husband and his trips to Europe with high school kids. (One day I will make it myself to see more of Europe.) History was never my best subject in school. Yet this book made me want to go look up the history of Paris (and hopefully continue on to other areas fro there).

I was concerned for Jen at the start of the book and the situation she put hers

I really struggled writing this review. I really wanted to love this book. I LOVED the synopsis, and I just had to read it. However, this book fell a little flat for me.

Love in B Minor is a love story that takes place between a ballerina and the lead singer of a popular band in Paris. I found that premise and the setting so interesting. I haven't read too many books set in Paris, and I couldn't wait to dive into this one. The writing was excellent. The author certainly knows how to write a scen

Both reeling from losses and past mistakes, talented ballerina, Jen Harrison, and lead singer for famous band Dire Blue, Lucas Wills, want nothing more than a fresh start. When one unfortunate event brings them together and leads them through one unforgettable night rediscovering Paris (and rediscovering themselves), it takes much will power for Jen to walk away and log this as just another one night stand. Meanwhile, Lucas finds himself feeling empty after waking up to the absence of Jen. They ...more

Jen almost gets mugged in Paris but a man comes to her rescue who says his name is Clement even though his first name is really Lucas. Jen tells him her name is Laura as she only planned on a one night stand and never seeing him again. Just to forget for a minute everything that has happened to her. Jen’s six year old sister had died from cancer less than a year ago and she had pushed Jen to go to Paris Jen thought the new treatment may be working and did as Mia wanted. I received the E-ARC from the author. I swear Elodie's books get better and better. Jen and Lucas are wonderful characters and they are so well written that it's like you know them. The alternating chapters are great because you're getting the story from both points of view.

From the beginning until the utterly shocking end this book kept my attention. The ballerina and the rock star. Two people who you probably wouldn't imagine together but fit each other so perfectly.

I enjoyed this book right until that ending happened. :(

Jen and Lucas had one night together and didn't plan on seeing one another ever again. Well, fate works in a funny way because Jen's friend tells her about an audition that happens to be for Lucas' band. The two meet again and Lucas starts feeling something deeper. Never has a one-night stand made him want to spend more time together. But Jen is different.

I loved Jen. Her backstory is tough and sad and because of that she moves to Paris (PA

Love in B Minor was a sweet story about Lucas and Jen, a rock star and a ballerina who meet in an unconventional way and fall for each other quickly. I did not read the first book in this series and didn't even realize there was another book so this can definitely be read as a standalone story. I was expecting a sexy, steamy story but was surprised that it was the complete opposite---a sweet romance with no heat at all. For me, this w

Love in B Minor is a really sweet story with a lot of intense far-from-sweet conflicts. I didn't realize it was part of a series, but that wasn't a problem...this definitely can be read as a stand-alone. What started out as a one night stand ended in bumping into each other in a different setting. A ballet dancer trying to make it in a big dance company after losing her sister needed one night not to think about anything. So she goes out on a night to just have a one night stand. She sleeps with this big public rock star and doesn't know it and leaves early in the morning without his notice. The next thing is she tries out for a music video to help get her company's name out there. And she runs ...more

Everything about this book was charming - the main characters, their romance, the city of Paris. I loved how Jen and Lucas had both heat and sweet; there was definite chemistry but they also cared for one another.

I also liked how real they seemed, just ordinary people with extraordinary talents. But even fame and notoriety didn't prevent them from feeling the same loneliness and grief that anyone would.

Plus, the mystery. I won't give anything away, but things start happening with the band and, f

I love this rock star romance because of the love interest twist. I truly appreciate the originality in the story line. It's not your typical rock star story.

Each character has more than their fair share of sadness in their pasts. The author uses their pasts to create both a connection between them as well as a conflict. The way that the author incorporates the past into the present was outstanding and made this a really good romance.

The romance part of this book was worthy of 5 stars. Unfortuna
