Opinion: This was a good book, it explained all of the history of the rise of the third reich and the fall of it. This book is worth reading because the way the author words things, it just sticks in your head and it also gives small details about Hitler that you otherwise might as not known. One quote that supports this is “The end came at 3:30 P.M on Monday, April 30, 1945, in a concrete bunker deep beneath the streets of Berlin, the German capital. Realising that the American and soviet armies were fast closing on the city, fifty six year old Adolf Hitler, dictator of Germany, placed a revolver to his mouth and pulled the trigger”. (pg 13)This quote has stuck in my head ever since I read it. Another quote that supports that is “Hitler's third Reich, the empire he prophesied would last 1000 years.”(pg 13) This quote supports the idea that not many people know the small details. Many people know about the holocaust and such things happening in this time period, but do thyme know that they believed that the nazis would last till 2945.

Summary: My book was nonfiction and was mainly surrounded around Hitler aka the main character of this book. The main plot of the book was Hitler’s rise to power,How he brought the Germans working class party (national socialists/Nazis), which was very little and barley had any supporters at this time, to ultimate power and the ONLY party allowed in germany, then the nazis fall in 1945. This book teaches us about one of the most dreadful, interesting, and important parts of history. This book explains everything from how Hitler wanted to become an artist when he was a teenager, to how the Nazi flag was made and the reasons behind its designs, and finally why Hitler hated certain races.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book to any history teacher teaching WWll at the moment. This book will help them grasp and understand every little detail and document in the WWll Nazi Germany era. Anyone studying history in college should also read this book for the same reasons. The author put so many documents and research into making this book and it shows when you read The Rise of Nazi Germany.
