Deeper is the intro novella to a new series by Lyla Bellatas called The Real Fling. The concept is a unique one, focusing on vacation romances, where what should be just a one night stand turns into much more. Adriana is spending some much needed time away from her New York advertising job with her friend Jackie. She’s been unexpectedly laid off and won’t go down without a fight. The location is the ski slopes of Vail, Colorado. She’s no novice, but a miscalculation in the weather leaves her

I really enjoyed this story. The pull between Val and Adriana was strong, and I fell for this couple. I enjoyed their time together, and my heart began to break when they had to part. When Val finally explains things, my eyes filled with tears. Lyla Bellatas made me feel her story. I recommend this book.

I had a chance to read this for an honest review.

I took a chance on this new author because she was recommended by someone whose judgment I trust and because her series intrigued me. I love to travel and as this series centers around vacation flings that turn in to more, I was all in. I expected a fun little romp with lots of hot sex and instant attraction, but as the title implies there was much more depth to this story than I thought making it an outstanding beginning to what promises to

Deeper written by Lyla Bellatas

I must preface this review with the fact that erotica is not one of my favorite genres. Aside from my own feelings, I thought this book was extremely well written a bit of a fantasy but isn't that why we enjoy reading fiction.

After Adriana learns by e mail she has been fired from her job she is beside herself. She and her best friend and co worker are together on a ski vacation. While trying to follow her friend while skiing she finds herself lost and injured

Ok I'm seriously getting pissed about these non-endings. That is not how it should have ended. I loved the book but the ending was shit, not finished. I swear if I read one more book with an ending like this I will stop reading.

If you are looking for a quick hot read then this is it.

Adriana is on a ski trip with a friend/co-worker. She is told that the company they are working for will be downsizing and that she will be losing her job. The cover art for Deeper called to me to read it. Bellatas created what I consider the perfect love story. Her characters, Adriana and Val swept me into their relationship journey with every one of their experiences shared in exquisite detail. Set in a ski resort I was surprised to discover that snow and ice can be sexy. If you doubt that, I challenge you to read it and disagree. I felt every word on the page whether the moment was tender, painful, frustrating, scary or steamy. I did not stop ...more

Deeper, finds Adriana in Colorado on a ski vacation when she finds out she lost her job from her co-worker and supposed friend, Jackie. While trying to follow Jackie, she finds herself stranded and Val comes to rescue her. During a snow storm, they find love and a connection that neither wants to lose. Although it was fast paced, the book was enjoyable, fun, and hot! 4 stars!

Born Armenian American on Long Island's Gold coast, Lyla has defied convention and morphed too many times to count. Beginning as an engineer, she swiftly made the move to marketeer then drifted to digital design, printing CEO, tarot enchantress, life coach and math/science tutor, collecting stories along the way.

As with her career, Lyla's passions have also led to many outlets. She's a high
