Fahey's Flaw (Kansas City Heat Book 9) by Jenna Byrnes

M/M Romance
Triggers: homophobic talk, drugs, death
I was given this book for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.

In this story, you have a myriad of characters. You are dealing with high school and college kids, parents who don't want to believe their kids could be the trouble makers, parents who are trying to protect their kids, teachers who don't know what to do and a uniquely blended family with some homophobic tendencies.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

Although this is one of a series, it can be read as a standalone; and the good news is that there are plenty of other gay couples in the area which have smoothed the way for this latest romance.

I really enjoyed the story, both the wider drug issue and also the burgeoning romance. Connor was a useful, and sweet addition to the story - as was Gus - and gave the lead characters plenty of opportunities to interact and get t

I received this book from Inked Rainbow Reads in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a good story about drugs in schools, how the kids handle it and the consequences that come from drugs.

Wynn was the main character and was a cop along with his son Connor who was in high school. Wynn meets Reilly a teacher and it was instant attraction. I thought Wynn and Reilly's relationship moved pretty fast, but it seemed to work very well with the story content. Wynn's

This is the ninth book in Jenna Byrnes Kansas City Heat series and I loved it. Jenna Byrnes just draws you into the story and makes you believe. This story deals with primarily drug use in high school thru college and how the main characters deal with it. Wynn and Reilly were absolutely great together and I immediately connected with both MC’s and was amazed with how they dealt with a new cheaper drug that was hitting the schools. Ms. Byrnes also shows how they dealt with becoming involved with ...more

Quick read. Enjoyable to read. Don't need to think hard to read the book and the series. Recommend.

This is totally a standalone in this series even though at the beginning it is a bit overwhelming with all the characters being thrown at the reader, once you get past that, I don't think we see much of any of the other characters from previous books.

I liked that this was a cop book, but it wasn't so much so that you lose track of the characters... And I can't help but love that it's a teacher book, because who didn't have a crush on a teacher at one point in their life or another so this was f

Book nine in this series was a good read and I like that Jenna took it a little further by bringing in a teacher as a main character and not mention Fahey's son as a supporting character.

With the new drug going around Con's school this leads to Fahey meeting Reilly. Reilly is one on Con's teacher and helps how he can to take down those individuals that are distributing drugs at the school.

Fahey and Reilly come together under not so great circumstances with the drug problem but their chemistry is

Jenna Byrnes could use more cabinet space and more hours in a day. She’d fill the kitchen with gadgets her husband purchases off TV and let him cook for her to his heart’s content. She’d breeze through the days adding hours of sleep, and more time for writing the hot, erotic romance she loves to read.

Jenna thinks everyone deserves a happy ending, and loves to provide as many of those as possible t
