A remote Scottish island might be the only safe place to hide.
Martial arts expert Lewis is the kind of bodyguard who slips under most people’s radar. Quiet, reserved, but constantly on alert, he’ll do his job, keep his charges safe, then relax by reading Shakespeare in his spare time.
When he’s given a case involving a spoiled celebrity singer, Lewis isn’t all that impressed. The job is nothing but babysitting a pretty boy, and he’s used to diplomatic postings with depth and challenge. What could he possibly have in common with the man he’s being forced to look after?
Alex became the envy of many when he and his fellow bandmates won second place in a huge TV talent show. He has more money than he knows what to do with, no life goals, an ex-boyfriend selling a sex tape and now, someone who wants him dead, or at the very least maimed.
Can Lewis keep Alex safe, even when things usually in his control go to hell? Is running to a remote Scottish island the only way for them to stay alive?

I've enjoyed every one of the books in this series but this one is really special as it has two loves running through it, not just Alex and Lewis' but also the love of heritage and the land under your feet.
Lewis' island home is as much a character as his brother and sister, as the rest of the people who live on the tiny Inner Hebrides island.
I'm also a sucker for Scots Gaelic, I learned to speak it when I spent hundreds of hours in some of the very locations this book is set in and I know the people who work the tiny CalMac ferry they catch out to Lewis' island.
This part of Scotland's West Highlands is one of the most awe inspiring landscapes I've ever seen and Alex falling for that as much as he did Lewis was so believable to me.
The bad guy plot also worked well and leads into the next book in the series which will see Roman fight against his crime family with the help of another of Kyle's BI guys.
I can't wait :)

Kissing Alex isn’t very high on the eroticism scale so if you’re looking for loads of sexy times and blistering passion you won’t find it here. But what you will find is loads of sensuality befitting this book’s title.
Alex and Lewis were both great characters. Alex is not what he seems on the outside but rather incredibly sweet and loving while Lewis is fiercely protective and loyal. Lewis is not pleased about his new babysitting duty infringing on his holiday plans but he soon realises that Alex is not the spoiled star he thought he was. What follows is a sweet slow burn romance with just enough uncertainty and angst to keep things exciting.
The characterisation, development and descriptiveness of their surroundings were all wonderful. The plot was also nicely paced with a few twists thrown in for good measure. All in all this was a great, enjoyable, sexy and sweet read that doesn’t require lots of thinking. If you want to lose yourself in a beautiful little romance, this one comes highly recommended.

*** A trip to Scotland ! *** Lewis, 31, Bodyguard, Inc., had a vacation planned and didn't want to be pulled into a job. But Alex, 27, British singer/dancer, is in need of protection and a place to hide for 2 weeks, plus the money was huge. Lewis knew the money would fund his Scottish homestead, Stoirmeil Isle, for a year.
A sex tape had been released of Alex, plus he's been attacked. Being in a boy band was dangerous. We begin slowly and the details of Scotland are vivid. So with the flowing story, our interest is caught. Lewis tall and toned is serious and an expert at his job. He takes Alex to the Isle where he'll be safe. And he is safe, except for his heart. Both men are falling hard. When trouble knocks, their feelings are realized and cemented.
This is a great story, different and special. All of the characters are fabulous and we are engrossed in the events taking place. Alex and Lewis are fabulous and sexy together. Lewis's Krave Maga work out, and Alex's dance were hot !
RJ Scott stories never disappoint me. Each can stand alone. I've enjoyed this whoe series. We get a HEA and I look forward to the next one. Highly recommended. ENJOY ! =====================
One of my favorites of the series!!! 4.25 * Really romantic! Charming characters and the island set-up very well described :)
Alex was in one of the most famous boy bands of the moment when all go wrong! Someone makes public a sex-tape with Roman. He didn’t know much about him… Roman’s family were some type of mafia so he was going to declare against them but this, put Alex in danger.
So Lewis was the one from Bodyguards Inc. to need to look after Alex and what’s better than get him away to his small Scottish island?
Hate at first sight! LOL. They don't start really friendly, but yeah the journey to know each other was beautiful!!
Note : I highly recommended to Alex to buy a kindle! At least for travel! XD
Book six in the Bodyguards Inc. series is all about the kissing – and Alex and Lewis of course who are doing the kissing.
This book struck a chord with me as it was based on an Island and I have lived on an Island all my life albeit not one quite as small as Stoirmeil. I could understand the need Lewis had to move away and experience the bigger world that runs right alongside the feeling of ‘coming home’ when he returns. I could also understand the slight awe that Alex felt as he took in the Island for the first time – I often still feel like that when I come home even after a short break away. Islands are magical places but the life on them isn’t for everyone.
Alex is in a boyband. He doesn’t hide his sexuality but it felt like he abided by unspoken rules as far as his management team went so when a video of him having sex was released on the internet it wasn’t well received. Add on the fact that the man he was having sex with was a member of a Russian mob family and things go bad very quickly.
Lewis works for Bodyguards Inc. but he has so much more going on his life. When he is persuaded to take a case in his downtime, a month he takes every year to return home, he’s not overly happy at the prospect but the money is too good to turn down and he really needs that money as becomes apparent as the story progresses.
On paper these two men have nothing in common – in reality they are quite similar and they are very quickly drawn to each other when they are secluded away for a few weeks with beautiful scenery, stormy weather and a big dose of lust. This was a great addition to the series and I’m already looking forward to Roman’s story – a man who plays a big part in bringing Alex and Lewis together but who is now living in fear.
This installment of the Bodyguards Series by RJ Scott was a fun, interesting addition. There was not so much involvement that it could not be read as a standalone, but when it's RJ Scott, why would you want to miss the stories that came before?
Alex is part of a boy band and not the celebrity diva you'd expect. Lewis is the bodyguard who is tasked with keeping Alex safe until a rather large criminal issue is resolved. Both the MCs are likable and going with them on their voyage of getting to know each other was wonderful. It was terrific that Ms. Scott made kissing a rather major part of the story! The secondary characters were interesting and now I want to visit that island!!
I don't do spoilers or want to rehash the story, read the blurb or preview to find out what it's about :)
I have already named myself an RJ Scott fan and this book is definitely one I was thrilled to read. The wrap up was rather quick and I'd have loved for this to be longer (but who doesn't want an enjoyable book to be longer?)
Recommended!!

Kissing Alex is the 6th book in the Bodyguards Inc Series but can be read as a standalone. Alex is a singer who’s found himself being targeted by the Russian mob and Lewis is the badass bodyguard assigned to protect him. Lewis reluctantly took on the case, as he was about to head away for a vacation to his home island of Stormeil, but agreed to take Alex with him. In that remote place, where Lewis is the Lord of the Island, Alex and Lewis become attracted to each other and eventually give in to it.
I didn’t buy it. There were so many things that bothered me with the plot and the characters’ actions that my reading satisfaction was seriously impeded upon. For a good 40% of the book, Alex and Lewis run around the island, fixing things, taking long walks, and attempt to flirt. The flirting came off kinda lame.
“ ‘I could ask the same thing of you. You looked like could get yourself into some good positions.’ Alex leaned in, acutely aware he was flirting with his bodyguard. ‘Me? You know how flexible I am. I can do the splits.’ He smiled. ‘Even lower to the floor if I wasn’t in jeans. If I was naked.’”
So yeah. They flirt, Alex sex dreams about Lewis when asleep and awake, and eventually they start making out. But it’s very slow going. I don’t mind slow-burn as long as it’s justified. There was no real reason why they didn’t start, well honestly, fucking like bunnies. It felt forced for the sake of anticipation.
Also, Lewis is supposed to be this super high IQ Mensa genius, but nothing in the way his character is portrayed supports that. He has an impressive academic background and can come up with some ridiculous chemistry questions about the pub quiz, but that created more of an impression about him being out of touch than ridiculously intelligent. My impression was that the intent behind Lewis’ high accolades was to make him more than a dumb heap of muscles, but it fell short.
Plot wise, some of the developments left me slack-jawed in wonder. Some tourists tweeted Alex’ location, which both Lewis and Alex’s management had tried to shield from the public at all costs, and Lewis’ reply was a zen ”Let them come”. You know, the whole, "This is my island" sort of gorilla chest-thumping fuckery that made no sense whatsoever. Sure, oh genius boduguard, stay there in that blip of an island waiting for the baddies like sitting ducks.
If it’s not obvious by my rant, I struggled to enjoy this book. It was boring and nothing really happened. I skimmed Lewis’ conversations with his sister and her love-life drama because they didn’t add anything to the story. The majority of the book felt like filler, waiting for some action from the villains at the end, where again, Lewis of the mighty protecting skills, fucked up.
The sex scenes were lacklustre at best and failed to move me in any way. The romance between Lewis and Alex seemed more like convenience than true attraction. I think the premise was interesting, with a lot of potential, but the execution fell short for me.
Can’t recommend.

"Have you ever kissed someone, and it feels like home, and passion, and possibly all at once? The kind of kiss that has you pushing over the edge of something vital and important."
Kissing Alex is a fun standalone read (#6 from the Bodyguards Inc series) that did a fantastic balancing act between sweetness and a bit of bite. Sometimes I just want an undemanding escapist read to sweep me up into the romance and go with the flow, but this also has dollop of witty exchanges in private observations and in shared conversation between and the leading guys, with some edginess thrown in.
R J Scott delivers a story that paints glorious word pictures of the wild Scottish weather and the remote island on which the namesake of the book Alex and his bodyguard Lewis find themselves. The enforced isolation brings some soul searching for both men and time to re-evaluate.
The setting and the people are beautifully captured. This story has a simple charm told from both Alex and Lewis' perspectives, whilst each of them moves from begrudging sufferance (to contemplating whether the other might feel the spark between them), and weighing up if having a casual relationship or something more serious is viable.
The pace of the story was just about perfect which makes me forgive the occasional errors that jolted me out of my reading bliss.

Kissing Alex is a wonderful addition to the Bodyguards, Inc. (can we possibly be six books on in this exciting series?). The characters, the locations, the story line, all combine to give the reader a romance to thoroughly enjoy. Alex is a band member who is out as a gay man but he doesn’t advertise it. Then a video of him having sex with a man who has unsavory connections is released and his carefully honed reputation goes all wrong. Alex feels powerless to stop the sketchy stories that are swirling around him. He needs help. Lewis is a bodyguard who works for Bodyguards, Inc., and he is about to take a much deserved and anticipated vacation home when he is called into the boss’s office and offered a job he can’t refuse. His need for the money is a compelling reason, and being sent to a beautiful location to simply keep his client out of the public’s eye sounds like something he can enjoy while working. Lewis doesn’t expect anything from this assignment other than a few weeks of easy work and a nice pocket full of money, but when he meets Alex everything changes. Storms, lust, and an encounter with a beautiful man are the upside of the unexpected job, but there is a downside. There is mystery, but not too much angst, so this is still a relaxing read. I love R.J. Scott’s style of writing. It’s like slipping into a warm robe to pick up one of her books. The reader just relaxes into the story and the world falls away. This book, although it is part of a series, can easily be read as a stand-alone novel. Recommended as a book you won’t want to put down and characters you won’t quickly forget.

This is the sixth in a series, but I have to admit it is the first that I have read - something I plan on remedying very soon. It is a well written, has interesting plots / subplots and deliciously hot.
I spent a wonderful summer up in the Hebrides, and this book describes brilliantly the beauty and the remoteness of that part of the world. The need to keep communities going and yet the desire to also see outside the area explains Lewis's behaviour, and Alex's reaction to the island that Lewis loves has a huge impact on him. As Alex falls under the spell of the island and Lewis, he is seriously considering his future as part of the boy band. Telling the story from both leads makes sure that we get fully immersed in these men's story, and it is difficult to stop turning the pages. Be warned!
Many thanks to R.J.Scott for another satisfying read.
I always love it when a book, whether in a series or a stand alone, can make me feel like I have known the characters for a long time. The chemistry not only with the two main, Lewis and Alex but all the supporting characters was woven so seamlessly together. I loved how Lewis and Alex flirted a bit before going for the lust. The support Lewis's family and teammates gave him was great to see. Alex was lovable from the get go. You could see his vulnerability pretty quickly and we needed to see that I think so we could connect with him and what fears he was dealing with. Loved everything about this story. R. j did amazing job once again of pulling me in...making me smile, tear up and be afraid for what might happen and when. Then in the end she gave me what I crave..a happily ever after for the men she made me fall for. Fantastic job. I HIGHLY recommend this book.

Kissing Alex is the 6th book in RJ Scott's Bodyguards Inc series and can be read as a stand alone. I have not read the previous books.
This is a lovely, relaxing read that didn't require too much thought from me. Luke and Alex made a nice couple but the story was formulaic and easily forgotten. My favourite thing about the story is the setting on the island off the cost of Britain which is beautiful and made me want to go on holiday.
This one is definitely one of my favorites in the Bodyguards Inc. series. I loved the descriptive writing in the setting, the characters, and the romance. Very sensual and sexy but not sexed up, if that makes sense.
And mmmm kissing. Kissing is always good, and when you can write that so steamy hot? Perfection!
But really, I loved Alex and Lewis, how they came to care for each other so quickly and naturally. And I loved the people on Lewis' island, his sister especially.
I'm really looking forward to the next one with Roman!
Lewis should be on vacation for a month but he’s asked to work when a client needs to hide away from the public and some potentially dangerous people. Being the Laird of an island it’s the perfect place to hide out. Lewis takes the job and brings Alex, a member of Twelfth Wonder, back home with him. Alex got in trouble after a one-night-stand lands him in danger with a crime family. The island is safe but somewhat boring when the only WiFi is in a cafe. It makes him think about his life and the next steps he would like to take with his career and his life. Of course Alex can’t help but notice how hot Lewis is and vice versa. A relationship starts between them and it’s unclear what happens next. The crime family does end up finding Alex on the island but Lewis takes steps to protect him & his home. Alex does end up shot but he’s alive. In the end Alex decides to leave Twelfth Wonder and start a real relationship with Lewis. Somehow every member of Bodyguards Inc ends up finding their soul mate while working.

Note: I have no relationship to the author. I bought this novel with my own money. I was NOT asked to review, but I'm doing it anyway.
I was enamored from the beginning by the character profiles in the blurb. A little "unlikely hero" mixed with "misunderstood bad boy". Put it together with the "Bodyguards Inc." series and there's not much that can go wrong.
However (I hate to say this...) My expectations completely threw me off for the first few chapters because here I'm thinking Lewis is this little slim squirrel of a guy (yeah, yeah, I stereotyped the nerdy guy) when he's actually this hunk o' beef with a brain.
My bad.
Seriously, my bad, because this way was so, so, so much better. Yeah, it takes away a little "unlikely" away from the "unlikely hero," but...
Okay, okay, onto the plot portion of this review.
I loved it and I hated it. I loved it because it's always interesting to see a superstar stripped of his persona and made to live as an average person. I loved it because the island was so full of character that it took on a life of its own for me.
And I hated it because... the island was so full of character that it took over so much of the story. Hmm, maybe hate is the wrong word, because I did enjoy seeing the island and seeing both Lewis and Alex interact with the inhabitants. It's just that.... there wasn't much of anything else, which made the ending a little forced.
It felt like a moment came where the author realized
Now let me talk about the title for a second, because--boy, oh, boy--did it fit. And it was such a pleasant surprise to finally have characters truly appreciate the simple act of kissing. To me, it made their burgeoning relationship all that much sweeter and a nice change from the sex-fiending/jaded characters that have become more and more prevalent in MM Romance.
Overall, I gave this novel 4/5. A solid read and a good addition to my digital library.
Despite Alex’s involvement in a couple of the other books, this is truly a standalone. Who he is and what he does is explained clearly, and you won’t miss anything if you are picking up the series here. That said - GO READ THEM ALL!!! You won’t regret it!
This is the sixth book in this series, and I’ve loved some, liked some, and not cared for some - and this one definitely falls in the *loves* column! Lewis is this hunky adorable braniac who happens to be the laird of an island off the coast of Scotland, a place he only gets to spend a single month out of each year, because the other eleven are spent earning the funds to keep the island running. Alex, whom we met way back in the beginning of the series, has had the misfortune to sleep with the wrong mobster’s grandson, and now needs a place to hide away until the trial of said mobster. Enter Stoirmeil, the windswept island of Lewis’ birth, and home to his younger sister, Sorcha, and brother, Davy. It’s a perfect setup - as long as Lewis can separate lust from duty.
I really enjoyed this addition to the series. The main characters are fun and witty, the chemistry is palpable though the actual sexy times are but three, I believe, and the environs are waxed about poetically until you can feel the blustery winter winds and smell the briny air of the Hebrides from your comfy reading chair. The peripheral characters are well developed and enrich the story wonderfully.
And wait until you find out what is in Alex’s overstuffed, overweight suitcase - you’ll be surprised in a manner most pleasant! All in all, this is a solid four star read. You won’t be disappointed!!
I love the Bodyguards Inc. series and this is the sixth book, although it can be read as a standalone.
Lewis yearns for his annual month off his bodyguard job to spend on his beloved Scottish island. However, Kyle, his boss asks him to take on a job and combine his stay on the island. Babysitting a boy band singer? As much as Lewis rejects the idea, the monetary gain that he needs to support his island is too good to miss. It is then he finds himself escorting the spoilt and angry young man across England to the north of Scotland. But the more time he spends with Alex he finds his original impression of him was totally incorrect.
Alex has been riding the crest of the wave of success after his band came second in a national talent show. Two years later he is now the outcast of the band and under the risk of danger, hence finding himself being escorted to a remote Scottish island with a brooding Scot as his bodyguard.
This was another hit in the series for me. I just love how the characters are slowly unravelled to give the reader an in depth understanding of what makes them tick. I love the slow burn of how Lewis and Alex gradually grew closer to each other and although they initially fought off taking the plunge but then after accepting they can have a quick affair to then it becoming so much more.
There was lots of sensual kissing going on (hence the title) and plenty of other sexiness added in. Oh and yes the ultimate stance of a sexy Scot in a kilt was nicely included (and we find out what was worn under the kilt too!)
The drama element was not overly done but just a smidgen to give the read a little more depth than just being a nice romance. However this is what it mainly was for me, a nice sexy romance, set in a beautiful part of Britain with a host of engaging characters and hot kissing. Loved! Four and a half stars.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
First let me say that although this book is # 6 in a series it can be read as a standalone. I definitely plan to go back and work my way through the series after reading this one. RJ Scott did a great job of explaining the other characters but I did feel like I was missing information a few times as I read, though nothing pertinent to this particular story.
Alex is a member of a boy band, but not at all what you would expect. After having almost everyone he knows turn on him for his sexuality, the double standard for sex scandals involving same-sex couples is definitely very real, Alex's life is in danger and he needs Lewis to help keep him safe.
Lewis begrudgingly agrees to help guard Alex, knowing he's drawn to his photo despite an inner dialogue that was full of contradictions.
I thoroughly enjoyed RJ Scott's descriptive writing, I felt like I was in Scotland more than once and enjoyed the attention to detail.
Safe in their own world in Scotland Lewis and Alex are forced to come face to face to their budding chemistry. I thoroughly enjoyed the dual POV and the natural progression of their relationship.
I highly recommend this story, but as i said before I would start at the beginning of the series in order to best appreciate it. I will definitely be going back and working my way through starting with #1.
There were a few mild errors but nothing that took away from the fantastic writing and beautiful story. I had a huge smile on my face when I finished the story and I could practically feel the love and joy between Lewis and Alex.
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review
You want to know the worst part of this book?? That it ended and I have to wait a long time for the next book!!! I have loved this series so much.
In this book, we see Alex again (from book 2-he was in the music competition with Daniel, and was the friend who got Daniel help from Ben). It was nice to see him again, even if it was in such horrible circumstances.
Lewis is the bodyguard this time. He takes a month off every year to go home to the island, but Kyle more or less begs him to take Alex with him to keep him hidden and off the radar. The romance is slow building; it was nice to see them become friends and for Alex to become part of the routine at home first. Lewis's brother and sister were great. I thought they were great supporting characters.
There wasn't any mystery in this really. There was some action when everything goes a little south, but a lot of the story was Alex becoming comfortable with his surroundings, with being off grid, and realizing what he wants out of his life. The relationship with Lewis was nice, too. This was another great installment and I want more!
Kissing Alex is book #6 from the Bodyguard Inc. Series. I haven’t read the other 5 books and I didn’t have any problems understanding, so yes it can be read as a standalone. Although I must say it did leave me wanting to read the other books. If you are looking for a sweet romance with mild angst this would be a great book. The Scottish setting and the characters were descripted beautifully. Lewis is what every bodyguard should be, protective, loyal, and very in tune with the person he’s protecting. In fact he was so in tune that he start to notice how beautiful Alex lip were. Once Lewis got past what he thought the normal Rock star attitude would be Lewis found Alex to be nothing like what he expected. He was kind, sweet, and lovable. I loved the way the story was told from both Alex and Lewis' perspectives, whilst each of them trying to figure out where the other person interest lye they got more and more invested themselves. Both wanting to think that a causal relationship would be enough but know deep down that they both needed more. To sum up this story I would say this is a book with a reluctant bodyguard that unexpectedly found a true love. I gave these heartwarming story 4 stars!
Reluctant companions are surprised to discover friendship and attraction when they mix business with pleasure.
While it's clear Lewis and Alex come from radically different walks of life, the story focuses on their similarities rather than their differences. The connection between them is both physical and emotional, a perfect blend of chemistry and romance.
Set on a remote island, the rich history of the Scottish people is subtly integrated into the story and adds a layer of authenticity to the gorgeous setting.
Kissing Alex is a mildly suspenseful contemporary romance with minimal angst. The moderate heat level, characterized by frequent makeout sessions, gave me the warm-fuzzies and the story a pleasant and engaging core. A yummy romance that satisfied my literary sweet tooth.
4.5 Stars really. I think this is the best book of the series. A little better than Ben and Daniels story, just not quite as good as 5 stars for me. But I really enjoyed it. It was a nice slow burn and the island setting in Scotland was gorgeous. And we even got a kilt scene! I liked Alex's character, he wasn't in the boy band just for fame and fortune, but for music and dance. You could sense his frustration as he chafed at restrictions still placed on him for being gay. I liked that he was somewhat quiet and serious and not spoilt or demanding.
Lewis was also an attractive character. He was also rather serious but not rigid or standoffish. His brother and sister were well drawn secondary characters as well. This story just felt more complete with great world building too and a nice sense of atmosphere.
Can't wait to see Roman's story as it sound like it will have a lot going on. Makes me wonder how many more bodyguards we might get to meet after that!
The new installment of RJ Scott’s Bodyguard Inc series is pretty fabulous. Boy Band member Alex is in a jam. Lewis, a Bodyguard and about to take his month long vacation, has to make it all better. Now, one thing I’ve noticed about Bodyguard Inc is if you’re lonely and looking for a soulmate hire one of their guys or girls and you’ll live happily ever after.
Kissing Alex is low angst high love. Minor suspense but exciting none the less. I loved watching Lewis show Alex the island, his home and seeing Alex feel not just the love of Lewis but love from family and close friends.
Alex needed a change and he never knew that his change would come from the protection of Lewis. I liked this story and having never been to that side of the world I’m always blown away by the descriptions and history of the places RJ uses as her destinations. It’s mesmerizing and makes me want to hop a plane to go there.
This is a wonderful addition to this already terrific series.
3.5 stars. M/M. Alex is a boy band member (in his 20's) being threatened by the Russian Mafia and Lewis, his hired bodyguard who grumbles but takes Alex along with him for his normally alone one month vacation to a sparsley populated Scottish Island that Lewis grew up on and is now Laird (Lord) of. Lewis is using the exorbitant amount of money Alex's production company is paying for his bodyguard duties to help the island he loves with needed repairs and such.
Alex and Lewis kiss, and kiss a lot! They also have several sexy moments. But, the real star of this book is the windswept, almost uninhabitable island with sweeping ocean views and indescribable beauty and, at most, one ferry visit a day. I get a cold chill thinking about standing on a cliff watching the ocean roll in but I'd love to visit.
*** I received a free copy to read and review for wicked reads review team***
Lewis is unhappy that his holiday time is interrupted by having to look after a spoiled pop star who is in danger. He thinks Alex is the stereotypical pop star but he couldn't be more wrong.
Alex is having a hard time of it, it's scandal he doesn't need and to top it off he is now in danger and needs protection.
the book is set on a Scottish island where Lewis' family lives.
Lewis and Alex must deal with their attraction to each other while dealing with the dangers that are lurking.
I've loved this series from the start, and Kissing Alex is no exception to that. The story runs smooth and detailed in a way that fits RJ's style to a tee. I like how she made Alex the opposite of normal pop-star personalities and gave him much more depth. Of course there are twists and turns while Lewis falls in love with Alex. I loved how there wasn't too much angst, just a few misunderstandings and preconceptions that are handled in a very up front way which I really enjoyed. This is a definite recommend for this genre!
Another okay read this one with a genius bodyguard / laird and a reluctant boy band star. There was a good setup for a potential plot direction that fizzed out to a single throw away sentence, and I would have liked a second epilogue set a few months later as the reader is left wondering what Alex did after the boy band.
I really enjoyed this installment of Bodyguards! Lewis and Alex are awesome main characters. And the supporting characters of Marnie and Davey were well done also. I really didn't get the whole Roman thing but still a good story with a lot more going for it than sex!
