She escaped death only to fall into the arms of a wolf who shouldn’t love her.

Snow’s spent her life trapped in the shadow of her stepmother, a ruthless talk-show queen who built an empire on cruelty. Just weeks before her twenty-first birthday, her stepfather takes her deep into the frozen Wyoming mountains to kill her. When she escapes into the storm, lost and half-frozen, she’s rescued by a stranger whose golden eyes hide a truth she’s not ready to face.

Wolf shifter Seth never planned to save a human. Exiled from his pack and haunted by his own rage, he’s given up on trying to redeem himself or trust anyone again. But when he finds Snow dying in the snow, something inside him refuses to walk away. What starts as instinct becomes something deeper, something that could cost him everything. The closer they get, the harder it becomes to tell where survival ends and something far more dangerous begins.

Together, they fight through fear, betrayal, and desire, learning that love isn’t about taming the wild but surrendering to it. Snow learns to stand her ground, and Seth learns that real strength means protecting, not destroying. Every choice pulls them closer to freedom and to each other, until neither can imagine a life without the other’s fire and faith. Their bond grows from wary survival to trust, passion, and the kind of connection that heals what the past broke.

A dark, steamy, paranormal, fated mates, enemies to lovers, fairy tale retelling filled with danger, redemption, and the slow burn of trust built through resilience. It explores trauma, identity, transformation, freedom, and belonging. It’s about confronting darkness, reclaiming strength, and learning that love can be both wild and healing. At its heart, it’s a story of redemption, trust, and a love that transforms both beast and heart.

The Elevator Pitch: A dark and steamy fairy tale retelling where survival meets fate and love defies instinct. When a hunted woman collides with an exiled wolf shifter in the frozen wilderness, danger and desire ignite a bond neither can escape. Twisting Snow White and Beauty and the Beast into something raw and redemptive, their story delivers passion, peril, and a love born from the wild.

Spoilers!!!

Modern day fairy tales, they’re here and they’ve got it all. From shiny new BMWs to glamorous diamond manicures. You name it. And, this time around Paranormal Romance author Jessica Aspen, brings us her own version with a sexy spin of one of our favorite fairy tale stories with Snow and the Seventh Wolf.

I don’t seem to recall reading a fairy tale turned modern, not to mention a sexy one, but author Jessica Aspen incorporated the modern day life and technology elements well to give Snow a new vision of our, yet again, dangerous world. It’s like no matter what place in time and space Snow finds herself in, she is doomed to suffer and suffer by the hand of her evil glamorous stepmother, Elena.

The author places Snow living in the rich world of L.A., surrounded by everything you can imagine. You would think she has it all. But, luckily, she finds a good and sexy werewolf named Seth, on her search for survival.

Who would have thought that a werewolf would save Snow from her troubles, while lost in the beautiful snowy mountains of Wyoming? I didn’t We’re always picturing these princesses with tall, charming and not losing their temper princes, but with Seth’s history of trying to kill his brother-in-law, I guess I would have paired a werewolf in the role of the Beast with Belle’s story. Something like, “Beauty and the Beastly Wolf”. Yet, again, the author gave the story her own twist making it interesting, even turning the rest of the dwarfs into sexy weres, to help and rescue Snow from her modern castle.

I liked that even though in the original story there are several elements that are iconic to the tale, like the apple, we might not see them as they are here, unless you look. For example, instead of Elena turning into an old witch, an acquaintance of the family gives Snow away and treats her to an apple. Not to mention that the poisoned apple instead, here, could be referred to as the drugs Elena and Ron give Snow. That could be a way to see it.

Another thing that caught my attention, reminding me that the story now centers in a different time was the use of our modern day technology. At one point you had a werewolf boy surfing the internet on his laptop and at the other, an evil stepmother blogging her life to her cyber fans. This was in her own way, her magic, to bring Snow down.

The evil characters were evil, the good guy not so good and Snow, this time around, fought for what she wanted trying her best to take control over her life and actions. Something that made me like this story from the start, making me feel that the author tried to give us not just a modern fairy tale, but also a girl that could stand for herself, giving us a good ending where everyone lives happily ever after.

If you’re into sexy werewolves rescuing the day, this is a book for you. Everyone should give it a try, maybe in the process of more readers, author Jessica Aspen will gives us a third book solving some questions.

This is the second book in the shifter fairytale retelling series, and it offers an interesting continuation of the world introduced in Red. While it can be read on its own, reading the first book definitely adds more depth—especially since the male main character is the brother from Red and is currently living in exile.
The story follows a wealthy heiress who has a target on her back, as nearly everyone around her seems to be after her money. That constant pressure creates an uneasy and suspenseful atmosphere, which works well for the plot. The male main character is a shifter who harbors a deep dislike for humans, so when he feels his wolf urging him to help her, he’s far from enthusiastic. That dynamic adds tension early on and makes his eventual emotional shift more satisfying.
Once he realizes she is his fated mate, the story really gains momentum. His determination to protect her and bring her back feels intense and fitting for a shifter romance, and the fairytale retelling elements are woven in nicely. The characters themselves are fun and engaging, and their interactions add warmth and humor to an otherwise dark setup.
One aspect that felt a bit overwhelming was the male main character’s living situation during his exile. While it fits the tone of the story, it sometimes distracts from the romance and slows the pacing slightly.
Overall, this is a solid and enjoyable shifter romance with an engaging plot, strong fated-mates energy, and a darker fairytale feel. Fans of paranormal romance and retellings will likely enjoy this installment of the series.

An amazing story. Seth is a wolf shifter and he hates humans. He was sent to his cousins pack because he tried to kill his sisters human mate. He is getting antsy so Aiden(the alpha) tells him to get the cabin ready for guests. On the way he hears someone crying and when he gets close he finds Snow. Snows stepmother is trying to kill her. When Ron, her stepmothers latest husband tries to shoot her, she runs away. But now she is lost. Then she looks up to find a wolf sitting near her. She follows the wolf who takes her to a cabin and disappears. When the door to the cabin opens, she finds herself face to face with Seth. Seth is feeling something he never thought he would for a human. But Snows stepmother is still looking for her. Will Seth be able to keep Snow safe? Loved reading their story. Thanx.

Seth was sent to stay with his cousins after he tried to kill
his sisters human husband. Seth doesn't like humans and doesn't trust them.
He gets in an argument with one of his cousins and they send him to check on a cabin that they rent out to make sure everything is ready for the guests. On his way traveling as a wolf he hears
a noise and goes to investigate. He finds Snow and realizes if he leaves her she will freeze.
He leads her to the cabin. She is running from her stepdad who tried to kill her.
Can Seth overlook his feelings for humans and trust her story. Will his cousins help.
A well written story with great characters. Holds your attention from the start to the end.

Messed up families and wolves

This I is an excellent book. It begins with Snow being threatened by her stepmother's boyfriend, Ron and Elena are trying to get the money Snow's father left to her, Elena has spent years making out that her stepdaughter is a unstable druggie in the hope that when she disappears there will be no problem getting the money.
Saved by Seth, a wolf shifter, Snow begins to fall for him. Seth is conflicted, he hates humans, yet the feelings he has for Snow are too strong to ignore. He will do anything to get her back and he and the rest of the pack run in to save Snow against the odds.
A must read for all lovers of romance and shifters.

I must say I enjoyed this one much better than I did the first book. Seth had been exiled from his pack, and his cousins took him in. The reason for his exile was trying to eliminate his sister's human mate. So imagine his shock when he finds a very human female crying, lost at the beginning of a blizzard. Snow was lost and scared after her stepfather tried to shoot her. She's praying to her deceased father for help when she sees a black wolf that leads her to a cabin.

Seth was sent to his cousins house to be around humans. He was told to be more human like with them. He thinks this is crazy and goes to make sure the cabins they rent out are prepared for the people. The last thing on his mind is finding his mate. Great love story.

In book two we are introduced to Seth, Reds brother , who has a real hate of for humans. Until the day that Snow literally falls into his life, he saves her from freezing to death in a storm. Then his world is turned upside down and Snow is the reason. He struggles with the fact that he wants her an realizes a few things about humans . But he needs to get over a lot before he can save Snow and himself.
Again the author twists this fairy tale and makes you want to cheer for the characters and then turn around want to slap a few of them upside the head. Seth is that character , I really kind of disliked him in the first book. I thought of him as very arrogant and self righteous . But he actually redeems himself in his book. You see deeper into him and you can see him struggle and hurt like any normal person would . He also grows up in this book and realizes that there is more then pack in the world . Snow to me at first came of as a spoiled brat, but as the author opens up and lets us in on her life. We see Snow as a young girl that has been hurt over and over . She has been brainwashed into thinking all others wanted from her is sex . As you see Seth and Snow grow up and realize that they are more then what others deem them as. They become the perfect team and the perfect mates . The other men in the book are all part of the pack and well help slap some sense into Seth. I think Aiden is my favorite. He needs his own book . Just a hint lol
The twists and turns in this books will keep you reading well into the night . It has everything evil step mothers , the hero who will take a bullet for the one he loves . The poor step father that will do anything to keep up the life style his aging butt thinks he deserves . Oh and there is also some pretty hot sex in the pages . That will have you feeling a little warm on a cold winter's night .

An intense modern retelling of Snow White!
Whoa! What an awesome roller coaster ride this novella took me on! This is the best retelling of Snow White that I have ever experienced. I did not love "Red" or "Goldi" in this series, but Jessica Aspen really hit it out of the park with this story. It has such cool twists on the classic fairy tale.
The novella takes place in modern day Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Snow White (her actual first and last name) is a young human heiress who has been treated cruelly by her evil stepmother, a former actress and internet queen. This stepmother is such a villain, a real evil bitch. Now, her stepmother decides that instead of just keeping her drugged, it is time to murder Snow and get her money. Snow escapes into a blizzard and is rescued by the most unlikely hero, Seth, who is a wolf shifter. If you have read "Red" in this series, Seth was Red's suspicious douchebag brother who hated humans so much that he tried to kill Red's human lover! Well, Seth starts out as an anti-hero in "Snow", but his uncontrollably positive feelings toward Snow turn him into a hero that I actually really liked. I also liked Snow and admired her strength and determination.
This was an excellent paranormal romance. It had really good action, suspense, and well-developed villains. Having friendly wolf shifters and being a clever retelling of Snow White were the icing on the cake! I highly recommend this novella to any paranormal romance lovers who like a slightly dark tale with a happy ending.
I received a free copy from the author in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

This novella is a sexy, sweet little romp! I’m a real sucker for stories that weave in a bit of fairy tales or folklore. This novella has just a touch of fairytale familiarity, add in a dash of hunk and a headstrong beauty and it’s a great little read.

Snow and the Seventh Wolf involves the smart, but world-weary heiress Snow. Snow is the like a misunderstood Paris Hilton without all the annoying posing and the Chihuahua. Snow’s stepmom (ex of Snow’s deceased rock star daddy) has tried just about everything to destroy her life; including throwing her into rehab and making her look bad to the press. Shit gets real and Snow ends up fleeing for her life. She meets sexy-smexy-wolfy Seth, her cranky prince charming.

The characters are quite likeable and strong in this novella. The story has a nice, brisk pace and for such a short read you really get to know the characters and feel for them. The steamy parts are sexy, but not raunchy or ridiculous. They’re just enough to get you hot, while preserving a bit of romance. You even get the Happily Ever after at the end! I’d love to read more of Jessica Aspen’s takes on fairytales; this was just too much fun!

Snow and the Seventh Wolf, by Jessica Aspen, is a fast paced, sexy novella. Filled with steamy hot wolves, it's difficult not to appreciate the sex appeal of the characters in this spicy twisted fairy tale romance.

The main characters, Snow and Seth, are characters that I happily followed and actively cheered for. Snow's disturbing and tragic past is effectively crafted by the author, allowing me to appreciate her personality and motives. Whilst Seth's bad-wolf persona, teamed with his passion and reluctance, acts as a thrilling character mix and an ideal supe for a fast, sexy and tension fuelled plot.

Considering Snow and the Seventh Wolf is a novella, there's plenty of action and character development that I was left feeling fulfilled and satisfied. If you are after a spicy short read with a fun paranormal fairy tale twist, then be sure to check out Snow and the Seventh Wolf by Jessica Aspen.

Disclosure: Snow and the Seventh Wolf was received from the author for an HONEST and not necessarily positive review.

A treacherous step mother who has a new plan to rid, Snow Electra Jazzman, of her life sets Snow on quite a different journey all together. Running in the woods trying to survive an unexpected attack, Snow finds herself at a cabin that is inhabited by Seth who is resistant to the pull of attraction they both feel. Seth is at the cabin trying to find himself, orders of his interfering family and none of those plans include a human whose touch has him raging hard to fight the beast within.

Wicked fun, quite a different take on the Snow White story. I thought this was thoroughly entertaining and made me eager to read more from this new to me author.

I am totally a fan of these twisted fairytales! These characters really came to life beautifully and I literally felt myself hurting for poor Snow and hating on her parents and well, I felt exactly as I did when I would listen to someone reading me a story as a child. Of course these tales are geared towards adults with adult HEAs! Such an easy read and the storyline moved so fluently I lost track of time! This is truly a PNR lovers delight! Snow and Seth

Quick read. Snow is very close to twenty-one when she will be able to claim the inheritance her father left her, and leave her stepmother, The Queen Bitch, for good. Unfortunately, the stepmother is not willing to relinquish control.
Seth has been banished from his pack because in his hatred for humans, he tried to kill his sister's human mate, vowing that all humans need to die. When Snow and Seth meet on a snowy mountain, he really tries to hate her, but..................

Here is a new twist to the "Snow White" story. Bad boy Seth has been exiled from his pack in Colorado, and sent up to Wyoming. Snow is just trying to survive her evil stepparents. When the two come together, the story really gets going! I really enjoyed the suspense in this story, and it certainly gets spicy at times!

A swelling romance that keeps you tingling. The intermixing of paranormal characters with fully human ones adds to this fascinating twist on traditional fairy tales Jessica has continued her searing series with this addition of Snow. Not the week princess one expects and her entanglement with a family of sexy male werewolves. Perfect heat for a cold winter night.
