The Case for a Creator Participant's Guide: A Six-Session Investigation of the Scientific Evidence That Points toward God

Rate this book
In the small group Bible study, The Case for a Creator: A Six-session Investigation of the Scientific Evidence That Points Toward God, Lee Strobel investigates scientific discoveries and explores how they form a solid basis for belief in God.

Former journalist and skeptic Lee Strobel has discovered something very interesting about science. Far from being the enemy of faith, science provides a solid foundation for believing in God as ongoing discoveries point to the incredible complexity of our universe, a complexity best explained by the existence of a Creator.

So has science finally discovered God? Certainly new discoveries in such scientific disciplines as cosmology, cellular biology, astronomy, physics and DNA research point to the incredible intricacy of our universe, a complexity best explained by the existence of a Creator. In it, weighty and complex evidence is delivered in a compelling, conversational style.

Written by Lee Strobel and Garry Poole, this six-session study is designed for use with the Case for a Creator companion DVD (sold separately).

Sessions include:
1. Science and God
2. Doubts and Darwinism
3. The Evidence of Cosmology
4. The Fine-Tuning of the Universe
5. The Evidence of Biochemistry
6. DNA and the Origin of Life"

AMAZING BOOK!! I love science, so this book was super intriguing and I will be sure to have it in the back of my mind when discussing religion in general. It fascinates me how much religion is correlated with science! It’s one thing to believe in a God, but it’s completely different for that God to be affirmed by the details in the world around us. This book is so incredibly detailed while still understandable to a high schooler who has little to no knowledge about the advanced topics discussed. If you’re skeptical about faith and how it complies with the world around you, definitely give this book a read, it will shake your world at its core!

I read this book at 16 and powered through it in a week or so. A fairly easy read but somewhat detailed for a 16 year old.

This book launched me into reading quality Christian literature. So it all began at a food bank at my home church when a volunteer gave me this book to go through.
