This is the first time reading this author's books. Very good story that exhibits imagination and artistry. Would have given the story 5 stars but too many errors, misspelled words and word use. Very difficult to read. I enjoyed the theme for need to get rid of baggage. I always say, "unpack the bags, sort out then put bags in basement or attic. I will be reading other books that are written.
This was a love story about Nia Taylor and Damon Bradley. They met at a company Christmas party. It was instant attraction at first sight but she felt he couldn't truly have feelings since they were from different worlds. He invited her out to dinner and that led to many other social interactions until they ran head on into a major stumbling block until they reached their happily ever after.
It is amazing how truth and honesty can make any relationship blossom. Damon and Nia are just what each other needs at this time of their lives. I am glad Nia talked with her father and learned that he did want her in his live. Our family always believe they know what is best for us, even if hurts in the end. I really glad that the love they have for each other was able to withstand their troubles.
There was so obstacles in Damon and Nia's way especially her self esteem and an insistent ex that wouldn't give up. My favorite kind of story where love prevails.
What a sweet and enjoyable book. I almost thought the enemy was gonna get her wishes. Thank goodness for that strong personality of Damon. He and Nia deserved to be happy after all the heartaches they endured.
Two people in search of love Damon and Nia were made for each other but Nia's fears almost destroyed her chances for love and a relationship with her father.
The concept of the story was very good. However, the actual story and how it was written could have been articulated much better. One minute Nia is upset and on the verge of walking away then the next they are kissing and hugging. The author did not explain how they resolved that little spat. I had to go back a couple pages because I thought I missed a paragraph or two....I didn't. Her love scenes was also lacking. If you are into hot and explosive love scenes then this is not the book for you. However, all being said Yahrah is a good writer.
I love this story about Nia Taylor and Damon Bradley, Nia had a bad experience with love when she was in college and swore off love for a long time until she met damon at first it took a while for he to open her heart but Damon Bradley show her that all men are not bad fantastic story I can't wait to read the sequel dare to love
ADVERTISING EXECUTIVE NIA TAYLOR WAS SMITTEN BY HANDSOME BANKER DAMON BRADLEY. SHE HAD TO LEARN HOW TO LOVE AND TRUST, AND THIS HANDSOME MAN, SHOWED HER HOW. SHE ALSO FOUND OUT, THAT HER FATHER DIDN'T ABANDON HER AND HER LATE MOTHER, ALL THEM YEARS AGO!!!
I enjoyed this story and love this author BUT this book is a rerelease (2015) and as such it should be free of typographical and grammatical errors. It was difficult to fully enjoy the story because of the numerous errors.
