This was a love story about Lexie Thompson and William Kennedy. They met through their best friends that eventually married. On the initial date they pretended a lack of interest when it was the opposite. He allowed her to have a fashion show at his night club that backfired because a neighborhood bully endangered his lively hood and her job. After the help of good friends and divine intervention he was cleared and it led to their happily ever after.
Well there are two of a kind. They had to rule their relationships and they were always on their terms until they met. The chemistry between them was magical once they allowed it to happen. All the characters were fantastic and help make this a great book! Now, I can’t wait to see if there will be more books to this series.
I like how Will and Lexie has a disastrous blind date with misconceptions about each other but their perception changed after spending time together and they fell madly, passionately in love.
This was just as good as book 1. Lexie and Will went through some real drama towards the end. The wedding was really nice. So glad Sydney got the boot. Is If you’re looking for love and happiness this is for you!
I absolutely loved the chemistry between Lexi and Will and I'm glad that they found love.My husband is native from Chicago, so the story line captivated me. I only wish there was another book to follow this 2 book series.
Two people that were set up on a blind date by their close mutual friends. Both had a strong desire for the other neither wanted to admitted. When Lexie needed a venue for a fashion show, that would determine her status at on her job, she had to bow down and ask Will for the use of his club. When he agreed they found out that they had alot in common and that both had been trying hard in life to please their mothers.
Will and Lexie are two strong minded, conceited, damaged people who are instantly attracted to one another and denying it. After the games, ego trips, and denials there's nothing left but love. This is a recommend read. There's family drama, thugs, friendship, and lots of love. You will not be disappointed.
This is the sequel to "One Magic Moment" and I must say I "Dare to Love" proves to be the better of the two books. The chemistry between Will and Lexie was awesome. I highly recommend this book.
