Emile is the story of a pristine white cat who longs for a more vibrant life outside of his grey apartment. The book's focus is on color- with reader's attention settling on it's illustrations. It is done with a brush stroke akin to Van Gogh, who also makes a cameo in the book.

Did Van Gogh really have cats?
