From authors Chelle Bliss and Brenda Rothert comes a smoldering standalone enemies to lovers romance that will, ahem…check all your boxes.

HOLY HELL. I loved this book.

While reading romance novels is my favorite thing of all time, my second obsession is politics. I hate it, but like bad reality TV, I can’t seem to look away. I do tend to shy away from political romances just to avoid being pissed off, but there have been a few authors who can write this theme and stay on point with the story – not letting their personal views come into play.

In Dirty Work, our Hero, Jude is a war hero who is tired of the way our government is being

When I picked this one up I expected a sexy story about two rivals sneaking around, what I actually got was a soppy disappointment. Don't get me wrong, I like a man to chase, to be obsessed and commit to claiming his prize/woman, but here, it lacked any Umph.

The first 30% was decent. There was some good sexual tension. 40 - 75% was rather boring, it dragged. 75% - 90% it got better again because some drama was introduced. Overall this was just okay for me.

Being a Virginia gal born and raised in the DC suburbs, I could not help but live and breathe politics—whether I wanted to or not. I could not ignore the parties of red and blue even if I wanted to. Being near the nation’s capital, politics was served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was everywhere! While I don’t follow politics much and would not be called a fan, the political romance I gobbled up from Chelle Bliss and Brenda Rothert made me want to parade into the political pool with pom-p ...more

Not only did this book never get interesting, not even half-way through, but the feminist in me forced me to give this a one-star.

I'm not going to like a book with a heroine who easily lets her life revolve around two men, (the hero and her father...) then gives up her dreams and career for one of them... It made me sad.

I abhor political discussions. Yes, I pay attention. Yes, I vote. But I will not discuss politics openly—religion either. Those discussions make me want to stab someone—there are truths and lies in everything. Believe what you want. Vote how you want. Just keep me out of it!

However, two politicians I adore are Jude Titan and Reagan Preston. They’re on opposite sides of the political fence. Reagan a liberal democrat. Jude a conservative republican. They’re both gunning to be the next Senator from

I was thrilled to learn that two of my favorite authors had decided to collaborate and write a book together. I knew there was no chance of it not being incredible. I found it intriguing to see if I could figure out who wrote what, but I confess, it was very smooth and seamless. It was just a whole lotta awesome. I found the subject to be very interesting. While I'm not very knowledgeable about politics, I've seen a few steamy episodes of Scanda

Secret 1: I did not read the blurb because Chelle Bliss' name was enough for me.
Secret 2: I was no wrong.
Secret 3: I did not know a lot about Brenda Rothert, but I have to say she added perfection to Chelle's perfection.

When texting and trying to goad each one should not insult Jude's manly bits, he goes offensive, "I do NOT have a small ***k. Would u like a ***k pic right now?" Jude sometimes has to show his woman he means business, "he squeezes my ***, molding our bodies together until I feel his erection against my lower belly. “Does this feel serious to you?” I loved this book, Jude was a great guy, and he was entertaining.

Dirty Work is the story of Jude Titan and Reagan Preston who are wait for it….. running for a seat in the US Senate against each other. Reagan is a currently a representative in the House from Illinois whose father is a career politician and Titan is a veteran, a war hero and newbie to the political scene challenging her for the seat; the seat Reagan’s father once held.

The authors did an unbelievable job with the chemistry in this one, the reader truly feels the pull

As someone who lives in New Zealand, our elections don't really cause as much interest as you see the American elections and more often than not over here we read so much more of American Politics that we can become invested as I have to admit and you can hate me if you want - but if I was over in America , I would personally be voting for Hilary Clinton and not Donald Trump - everything about him screams a joke and if he does get in , then it will be to me the equivalent when a dog was register ...more

I just finished Dirty Work by Chelle Bliss & Brenda Rothert and loved it! It was my first political romance and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved it. Not because of the writers, no I love Chelles books but I was surprised that I liked the politics in the book. Despite being on different political sides, Jude and Reagan found that they had an immediate connection with each other. They had an easy banter and the honest rapport. I liked how they grew as friends first before they became more.

Jude is the decorated American hero. He's fought wars and has come home to help those he fought with overseas. He was honest and trustworthy. Everything you want from someone in his position.

Such a delicious Political love story!
I’v had my share of working with politicians. So when I say it’s pretty spot on. It really is!
“Dirty Work” brought election, politics and love to us. In one awesome read. Yes seeing the going of a campaign was just so appealing. It's not a normal topic in the romance genre. The plot was rather unique. Which interned kept me captivated.

Seriously, why are you reading my review? I gave my opinion which is go buy the book and devour it. It's like the Pringles ad - Once you pop (open the book) you can't stop. Why the overt fangirling? BECAUSE ITS AWESOME THATS WHY.

For a first time duo team writing, they could have written under a pseudonym Brenelle Blishert and I would have thought it was one person. Their writing styles blend effortlessly. I've read from both authors and immensely enjoyed their individual storyte

I've been a fan of Chelle Bliss from before the Men of Inked se series. This was so different from anything she has ever written and I know this is a collaboration but it was phenomenal. The characters were fun and the banter between them was sexy and infuriating and frustrating but it just made the story so much more interesting. The story actually released during this time when all the political crap is going on TV it was really refreshing to read something

This was incredible
The story follows Reagan Preston, a democrat whose been groomed well by her father who is about to retire, and Jude Titan, a war Hero who wants to make a change for veterans and other stuff. Jude is new in the political world but that doesn't mean he'll stay behind but do everything to win.

"Reagan Preston’s about to find out Marines always fight to win, no matter the cost.”

The story was great. There was no bad vibes between them. Reagan was sweet, strong and level-headed.

When Reagan Preston sees on TV that Jude Titan has announced his candidacy for the state senate seat, in direct opposition to her, she knows she has to take it seriously. It's not simply that he's darn good looking, but he brings with him a kind of freshness and openness that tends to resonate with disillusioned voters.

As a decorated Marine veteran, a war hero, Jude is familiar with having enemies, and doing whatever is necessary to succeed, but he's also been instilled with values such as honor

Being this is an election year, I though oh no, here we go, a book on politics trying to change peoples thinking. Well it changed mine but in a good way. This is a story about two people trying to make life better for the people in the state of Illinois. Reagan Preston is the daughter of Senator Preston and she grew up in politics. If Titan was running for president, I would so vote for him!

Dirty Work is a tale about two rival politicians and their battle on the voter and romantic front. Reagan is a born and bred political family machine. She has done everything her father has trained her to in the political arena and she is ready to stretch her wings to be a Congresswoman. Running for her own father’s seat is a bit of a nail-biting, but she’s confident that she can beat the competition. Well, that is until wild card Titan

I love this book! The writing is seamless, the story superb, and the plot apropos of the hour. Even if you're sick of politics, the book will get your mind in a different way. It's a refreshing spin on party lines, because Jude Titan, Republican, has every intention of crossing them in order to make Reagan Preston, Democrat, his in every way that matters, and that *doesn't* include politics.
