A thorough look at the many ways we can use our most basic resource -- ourselves -- to overcome poor self-image, insecurity, depression, stress, and unhealthy behavior patterns, and guide ourselves confidently toward success and happiness.
This book really is amazing. It puts a lot of what I've been reading and learning about tapping into your authentic self and the notions of radical acceptance and puts the into more practical terms. Sure, we all want to be able to listen to ourselves and be in-sync with our wants and needs, but for many of us there are a lot of imposed obstacles towards doing this. "Talking to Yourself" hones in on how to break these obstacles to free ourselves to be ourselves.
It's an old book I've in 1990's. Didn't get to read it and now I still can't finish it. Some good points, maybe. The book binding is totally loosen. Not keeping the book.
