G.R. Lyons stumbled into writing as a form of trauma recovery when traditional therapy wasn't working.

Then the story ideas just kept on coming.

Pulling from a vivid imagination as well as real-life experience as a trans man, a sexual assault survivor, and a person living with mental illness, Lyons has written multiple, interconnected series set within his fictional world of the Shifting Isles.

When not writing, Lyons can be found belly dancing around the house, studying anarcho-capitalist philosophy, buried in his never-ending TBR pile, or working out at the local CrossFit gym.

5 stars 🌟Holly molley right from the start of this book it had me wondering how this was gonna go at the ending. This absolutely keeps you guessing what will happen. This is a F/M story but with a big question mark towards M/M. I prayed for Daivid to find his happiness, I totally could write spoilers for this but I wont. The ending was perfect for Daivid and ??  Nope not telling lol. If you've read previous books you'll know about the paranormal characters such as Vorena and Grandpa visiting all in the name of helping out..lol Romance, Flying white horses, midge magics and a bit of drama along the way with flying paint cans and more.
Daivid was trying find answers to who his parents are but so far to no avail even if involves breaking the law. David's engaged to Jani.  He worked at a nightclub called Gents as a stripper, a secret Jani didnt know and hoped to keep it that way..
Life had other plans, at his happiest tragedy strikes and he wishes he'd died..Daivid's life gets turned up side down. Sasha enters Daivid's life with the help of Sam things would be intresting as if keeps yah guessing what happens next.  I absolutely love this series so far as this author is brilliant writting the stories.
