I stumbled onto these on my shelves while looking for something to read before bed. I'd forgotten all about them....

Here's the thing. There was a toy magazine called Toyfare, a price guide for collectible action figures. It's something I'd never know about, since I don't go in for that sort of thing.

BUT they also did irreverent little comics in their magazine, posing action figures, taking pictures, and adding speech bubbles. Those comics were really funny, and I'd always thumb through my comi

The first few stories are hit and miss but once they find their stride it's comedy gold. Interesting to see that Seth Green provided a blurb on the cover since he'd go on to do robot chicken which is essentially a direct rip off.

These comics are ridiculously funny. Best if you know a little about Marvel canon (and Star Trek and The Dukes of Hazard in this one), but worth a try regardless. Hulk alone is worth the cover price.
