I buy a lot of children's books for my grandchildren and this collection of stories, sing-song rhymes and poetry will entertain young and old. Not only does this book get requested at bedtime repeatedly for grandma to read to them, but the 7 year old loves to read it to herself and to her 5 year old sister.
The illustrations are varied and gorgeous with the words printed amongst them on large pages within a padded hardcover that's sturdy enough for lugging around by children who adore this book.
I laughed like crazy at the "Grandma's Trip" story. So cute.
I had to provide a bookmark so my oldest granddaughter would know where she left off when she read under the covers with a flashlight before she fell asleep, just like I did when I was her age.
Perfect book for toddlers into first readers. This one is on our favorites keeper shelf!
This is a great book! I totally love it. Beautiful and bright paintings, cute rhymes, and interesting stories. Itenhances the creativity and imagination of your child. My sons can not have enough of it.
