Roccanti's Marriage Revenge
Lynn Graham writes a cracking story but there are some elements in her books that really bug me. It seems as if her characters are all so over the top. The heroines are so overloaded with terrible experiences and the hero is always a first-class jerk and a........e

In this one, the heroine is a victim of abuse (verbal and physical) yet she is still seeking her father's approval!! what? he needed a knee in the crown jewels and reporting to the police. This guy was seriously sick.

She is targetted by the hero who wants revenge on her father. He is absolutely awful to her and she ends up alone and pregnant. I just could not summon up interest in either. A little dialing down of the nastiness would have made this a more realistic and believable book in my opinion.

A Deal at the altar
This was actually an improvement on the first in the trilogy. Sergios was an utter douchebag at the beginning but he redeemed himself in my eyes. This was a tightly written story that had great characters including a heroine who stood up for herself (and her mother) and a hero who was basically a decent guy and just needed to be taught how to behave better.

A Vow of Obligation
NO! I can't take anymore! Here is yet another a.....e jerk for a hero, and thoroughly cruel and awful set of experiences for the heroine before she gets a happy ending.

It was hard to accept Navarre as a hero because he behaved so badly; and the sudden change in his personality was unbelievable. The side story of his mother was just awful. I loathed Tia and could see no reason why Navarre would protect her as he did. This was worse than the first story in the trilogy.

Triple trouble

Three sisters, three alpha males what else do you want? Excellent stories, all different but including a little drama and lots of passion. This trilogy, if one can call it that is so good I have read it twice already and still find different emotions every time I read it. Highly entertaining and highly recommended. Love this author.
