Settling down was not for Summer Reed. Party by night, work by day and let tomorrow take care of itself--that was her motto. But when Derek Anderson, her roommate's globe-trotting brother, crashed into her life, Summer was dismayed to find he had other plans for her future.
Derek knew witty Summer was the woman for him. And he was the hero to satisfy all her requirements ... and then some. After weakening her resistance with passion, he waged a subtle campaign to overcome her every defense.. . .

Gina and John, her husband of more than 30 years, have raised three “extraordinary” children, two daughters and a son, all pursuing careers in science and medicine.
This one was very average. Our heroine was in an accident five years earlier that shattered her dreams and heart and since then is content to live a shallow life: working at a job she doesn't like, going to parties etc, when the hero who happens to be her roommate's older disapproving brother comes into her life. The romance here was pretty lack-lustre and pretty soon these two come together & decide to get married.
Hero in Disguise, Hero for the Asking and Hero by Nature. If anyone asks me what were the first mills and Boon I read, its these. Derek, Clay and Jeff combined are my first literary loves. I loved these books and have them constantly beside my bed. They even come with me on holiday. I found them on Amazon and my darling husband bought them for me as a valentines day present. I read them over and over again. Summer, Spring and Autumn are brilliantly written about, and their "heroes" are perfectly matched. I wish Gina would write a follow up. It would be great to see how Derek copes when his daughter meets her match. Especially if she can be as autocratic as he was.
