He was first-class male

Allie Leonard had stopped by the Hope, Idaho, post office expecting to collect a few letters. Then her roughhousing kids ran her pickup over a custom-made bicycle belonging to one very angry Michael Rhodes. Allie ended up with an imposingly large man on her hands.. . .

And his tent in her backyard. Michael was determined to camp out until his Oregon sporting goods store shipped him a new bike. But in spite of Allie's growing claustrophobia, he soon inveigled his way into her home--and her heart. To make him stay, all she had to do was destroy every two-wheeler entering Idaho....

Allie Leonard is divorced with 3 kids in Hope, ID, a resort town. She supports them with her quilting. When she runs over (her kids let the brakes go) a custom bike belonging to Michael Rhodes, he ends up camping in her backyard until a replacement comes. The attraction is there, but he's on a quest to settle his wife and daughter's death. The daughter turns out to be the baby girl Allie is raising when a foster sister left her with Allie. Several misunderstandings later, Michael finally returns for Allie and her boys.

The first 4/5 of this book was actually very sweet, and engaging, and I was really set to like this one, until the ball was dropped. It's a shame.
