About the author

Pippa Goodhart is the author of over a hundred children’s books, including the prize-winning picture book You Choose, and the Winnie the Witch series which she writes under the pen name of Laura Owen. She trained as a teacher and worked for many years in bookselling before becoming a mother and a writer.

Kind of Twins - A Maxine and Minnie Storybook by Pippa Goodhart, illustrations by Allie Busby: Special quick friendship chapter book about two girls who life in a duplex and agree to be kind of twins. I liked how one of the characters is in a wheelchair just naturally integrated in without any mention of it throughout the book. Wish I could find more books with this occurring.
