Written by a former mission president and his wife with input from stake presidents, mission presidents, and over 50 returned missionaries and their families, sections include A Successful Transition, Dealing with Change, Three Things to Do Now, Setting Goals and Making Plans, The Importance of Education, Dating and Marriage, and Becoming a Full- Time Disciple. Each chapter contains scripture references, points to remember, and suggested activities that can be completed within a few weeks of returning home. Another feature of the book is the authors companion website, TheNextTwoYears.org, with additional materials and resources, advice from returned missionaries, and a place where readers can share their own experiences and ask questions.
