A great little book! Full of bite size pieces of information all about veganism: why do it, what vegans say ‘no’ to, alternatives to non vegan food items, and recipes, all interspersed with eye opening data points about the treatment of animals, the environmental impact of eating meat, and much more. A lot packed into a tiny package, pleasantly readable in one sitting.

While checking on books, I saw this little book of Veganism.
A little one, among other big health books displayed at one of the trellis in the library.

Got excited and borrowed it.

Veganism is not just about the diet, it's also about the lifestyle. Prior to reading this, I thought that being vegan is eating clean and green (and some vegans I know eat eggs). However, Veganism is also about your lifestyle (but it's your choice whether you want that lifestyle or not). For example, make-up stuff should

Lovely little book to summarize all my thoughts why I'm going vegan. Some recipes as a nice extra bonus.
I recommend it for all vegan-friendly people who sometimes can't remember why is all that stuff about eating animals so bad (like me). And especially for people who want to know more about veganism and maybe they want to give it a try. It's deffinitelly worth it. Because you will know that vegans don't eat only greens or stones (:D) and it is so much better to live like that.

I picked this book up on a whim and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been vegan for eight years now, but always enjoy a new recipe or tip, which this book has plenty of. I also learned some new tidbits about the history of veganism, which I found so interesting! It’s obviously a quick read, but I can imagine keeping it on hand (it’s quite small) and lending it to folks who want to learn more about being vegan - particularly when the information is given in a calm, non-pushy way.

A short and sweet tome that I'd recommend to anyone vegan-curious, or family members (such as my own) who struggle to get their heads wrapped around the transition to veganism.

My copy was an e-book (thanks Hoopla!), so it took about 10 minutes to read.
