If you have ever watched basketball in Catalan (in Catalonia), you will probably know and highly regard Jordi Robirosa, one of the best sports journalists out there. His voice (and beard) are well known by fans of the sport (or sport in general).

And here we have a book written in 2009 (it was a different world) about his experiences and opinions (more than an analysis or look at basketball players). It is interesting (particularly if you like journalism) but sometimes it ranges from the annoying (he 'proudly' explaining how he got Jack Nicholson to burp in front of the rolling camera) to the naive (he commenting that Rudy Fernandez hasn't had to gone back to Europe with his tail between his legs... which he did, a couple of years later; now, Fernandez had lots of reasons to go back to Europe, but he didn't become a star in the NBA, or even an important role player, whatever the reasons). So, some of his comments are a little bit 'out of touch', but, at the same time, you feel his passion, you feel that it was a world where getting Jack Nicholson burping was maybe not so much Robirosa bothering the Hollywood star (that it was, totally), as much as a relationship based on 'teasing each other', and where rules could be/had to be bended a little bit and everyone knew that this wasn't a punishable offense.

The best: the passion

The worst: that it is out of date (what would he say/add about Navarro, Ricky or Fernandez right now?), that sometimes that kind of journalism was a little bit (unnecessarily) aggressive
