I'm fascinated by deeply flawed people in impossible situations, and insane people who don't know they're insane. Perfection puzzles me, so my characters are always just a little bit evil--whether they know it or not!

Not sure how I'm feeling..

It took me days to finish this book...almost a week which is very rare for me.for some reason it didn't pull me in quickly .i can't put my finger on why.i think more than anything, I know we still have one more brother to go and I want this badly to be wrapped up.its drawing a new woman in for each brother and they are all in some way involved..its just getting too convoluted and I'm ready for it to be over.i did get into it about midway through but....not because of he Jessica/Ashley storyline but because I'm so in love with zoey and Val still I care what happens to them.the last book doesn't even have to be long....just lets wrap this drama up please.

Lies and secrets

From beginning to end the story held my attention. Ashley/Jessica started out wanting nothing more than to do her job, she did not count on falling for one of the people she was investigating. A few facts were revealed but still have to wait for the next book to get the full story.

APB Perspective Review: 3.5 stars
I liked this book but I felt there was a little to much filler. I realized why when I was nearing the end, it's a cliffhanger ! The story is good and I want to read what happens next , but I now I've got to wait for the next book to get the conclusion to this story.

Leo needed to clean up his act. Who has a harem of women? I was surprised by the suspense built in from Jessica's presence. I liked the story and couldn't believe the ending. I can't wait for the next installment.

Running, but taking falls along the way. It's a struggle to keep up the the future. But even more so when you are running faster to keep away the past.

In love actions speaker louder than words. Even in the purest things like trust can get lost because of secrets. Others fall blindly to what has been in front of them the whole time not realizing it's what the hearts been screaming for all a long. Lastly others throw away caution pushing logical thoughts a side diving into the dream head first simply because it's all you have wanted in your life secretly for years. One taste by accident leads you to taking steps into the unknown.

Book one was great. Book two was good. Book three was bite your nails good. Trevion gave me a closer more in depth look on the Blacks death. She left me feeling pity and anger towards Reggie. Planning and hoping someone offed Victor. Unsure about Tony. Thinking wow Bette. Irritated and annoyed with Angie. Sorry and worried for Roman, but unsure about Gary.

For me these books have been perfection. Enchanted by the way Trevion Burns has managed to link all three books Taming Val, Claiming Roman and Loving Leo.She makes my eyes dance with excitement. I am happy to be on the edge of my seat. Selfishly wishing to read more on Val and Zoey whom have become my absolute favorite couple with each page I turn. I can't wait for the last, but hoping it's long on Gary.

Not a romance

Good Read, the mystery of this book had me way more than the romance, which really was nonexistent. I think Leo and Jessica's story could have been so much better, I get the author is weaving a interesting mystery into this series, which is so good, but you still need to have the romance in a romantic book, and Leo and Jessica did, their story is unfinished and I find myself a little disappointed in not having any closure with their love story,it's just up in the air. The Roman/Angie and Val/Zoey romances have conflict and mystery which I love but they are together, Leo and Jessica are not. I did really like this book,it was great, I only gave it 3 stars due to the lack of romance between the main couple.

Page turner

This series was amazing. It was a page turner. It kept me on my toes the whole time. Trevion Burns did a great job with this series. I'm anxiously waiting for book 4 to come out. I can't wait to see if the main characters overcome the turmoil that's taking place.

A quick run-down of events

Leo is the fun-loving man about town Romanovsky brother. He has a harem of women whom he refers to as his “orphans” ready to drop panties and bras at the crook of his finger. Enter Jessica Borgia, a blast from Leo’s past. The girl he used to tease in high school. But Jessica’s all grown up and slimmer now, and working undercover for the F.B.I. Her next case involves bringing down a corrupt presidential candidate, who unfortunately has a secret devastating link to The Romanovskys. Though Jessica schemes her way into Leo’s life under an undercover Alias, even she cannot resist his endearing charm. Soon old hurts from the past, morph into romance. But Jessica’s lies and Leo’s playboy ways ensure that any future for them is over before it begins.

A Let’s be Real Review

Okay, so maybe this wasn’t the best summary. I try to do what I can without spoiling too much of the story. But here’s the thing, Although I find Leo livelier than his dull as a dishrag brother, Roman, the story again fell victim to overload. Trevion Burns packs another wallop of a book. With a word count that exceeds its predecessor. Multiple POVs, secondary characters with long passages – full chapters even, that take away from the central story of the book…ugh, Loving Leo! I mean, the book is his namesake, but we barely get to read about him. Aside from some awkward dance scenes and some on-the-nose conversations telling and not showing us his motivations, wants and needs, by the end of the book, he’s about as unremarkable as his blonde, blue-eyed brother. Loving Leo isn’t about Leo at all. It’s about everyone else’s secrets. What he doesn’t know will hurt him, but by the end, this reader couldn’t feel too bad. I still didn’t know who the hell he was outside of being a Romanovsky brother.

This has gone on long enough

I’m going to end this review earlier than the previous by telling you that everything I took issue with in the second book, remains an issue in the third. Dare I say these issues are amplified in some regards. Too many point of views from too many characters. Although Jessica is a character you can admire in many ways, in other ways, she’s a tad boring. Not as boring as Angie, and not as annoyingly childish as Zoey, but still…

If I had to read the phrase “Beer Belly Borgia” one more time in this story, I thought I might throw my Kindle into a nearby fire! *Exhales* That was annoying! I could dissect bit by bit why this book didn’t work for me, but overall, I do not think it’s necessary. What is necessary is that you read it if you plan to complete the series, and surely you’ve decided by this point. Because you cannot skip this one and move to the last. In fact, by its conclusion the major mystery is solved. There’s honestly no reason to read the last, except to who’s Gary going to be with, which couples are staying together (and you can pretty much predict how that’s going to go) and catch the reveal of some minor, frankly insignificant details from the past. Stay tuned, I’m off to write my final review for this series. Finding Gary, up next!

My rating: 3.5

Another good read

This was a good read but it was a bit long and drawn out, it is book number three of the Romanovsky brothers four book series. This book was suppose to be about Leo and Jessica/Ashley's romance. However, I felt like very little time was spent on the. Most of this book is spent on the other two couples romance and expanding the mystery beind Zoey's parents murder.
by the end of this book I was beginning to get frustrated and felt like the story was really dragging and I was losing intrest,
However, there were a few ibtresting things that came out in the end.
So now on to book number 4. we will just have to see how this ends.

I loved the first two books in this series, but honestly this book was alot of recapping of who killed Zoey's parents, who is all connected to it.... This book did not keep my attention....at times I found myself skimming some of the pages to see where this was going. Alot of the material was the same as the previous two books but just said in a different way. Now don't get me wrong I LOVE a good long book when it's saying something but IMHO to read a book of 300 pages plus of the same thing over and over is just a waste of my time....this book could have been done in at least a hundred pages less....but anyways on to the last one.....

The saga continues

This third book in the series is Leo Romanovsky and Jessica Borgia's story and it is a page turner. Leo is the twin brother of Val and is a notorious womanizer. Jessica aka Ashley Williams is a federal agent whose sole purpose was to expose the Romanovskys for a crime that happened over ten years before.

This book is full of suspense, intrigue and great chemistry between the two main characters. I love the closeness of the family. The author has done a great job of building up each character that they seem real. I love the humor as well as the seriousness of the story. Now on to Gary's story which will conclude the series.

Not my favorite Romanovsky read

I like Ms. Burns' Romanovsky series and enjoy reading them. This one was pretty decent but nothing has beat Taming Val. I like how Val and Zoey's story continues through this book, I had trouble believing the chemistry between Leo and Jessica/Ashley in this book. It seemed forced. I liked seeing glimpses of Roman's struggles in his relationship with Angie. The book was like an action packed, FBI mystery but was well written and enjoyable. Now can we read Gary and end this already

Just Pure Magic

If you are looking for a story to tie you up and twist you into knots, this is the one. This was a story that took hold and refused to let go.The entire story is so well developed that you can get an actual visual. This has been a series that have so many twist and turns and a whole lot of emotions. This is a story of what family is all about, love and the sacrifices we make for those we love.I can't wait for the next installment and conclusion to this series.Hopefully we will not have to wait to long.

Wow!!!!!!!!!

This story just keeps getting better and better. Now I really can't wait until the final story. I don't normally like cliff hangers; but I gotta admit that I didn't see this one coming. A lot of the angst was a bit much at times and really got on my nerves; but I enjoyed where it eventually advanced the story and I will be eagerly awaiting Gary's story.

Worth it

I really liked the first book in the series, but decided to skip Roman and Angie's story....I'm glad I jumped back in with Leo. He's the most fun of the brothers, and a likable character. Wish I could say the same for Jessica. If you're interested in Zoey and Val's story, this one is worth your time.

My favorite book in this series because the family secret and culprit is finally revealed and it was definitely not who I suspected. I was lucky to find this book and series. Great read. I don't want to give anything away but each book gets better and better as the family secrets are finally resolved in this final book.

Leo

Wow!!!! This was worth the wait. Although I suspected who would turn themselves in....I found that this was more about the ongoing mystery and not a whole lot going on between Leo and Jessica. There was just enough romance, but I would have liked for the book to be a little longer with them having an HEA before reading the last book in the series.

Great

Much, much better than the second book. It was good to see the original confident, quirky Zoe back in this book. A little if Angie goes a long way, excellent choice. Can't wait for the last book because I have a pretty good ideal which brother was responsible.

Good Read

I enjoyed this book, worth reading but the characters just kept dragging their feet, not being bad a__. The brothers were rich and powerful but had no bad a__ tendencies. Also the characters kept repeating themselves, this drove me crazy.
