This is an excellent Spy Thriller that caught my attention in the first few pages. There are plenty of surprises in the story, but definitely in a good way. Chao Lin a Chinese business man didn’t make a good choice when he decided to spy on his own country for the British Intelligence Service. The Chinese have grabbed him in Hong Kong and taken him back to China, and as the British have said, not a country you want to be taken to if you are a spy. Steve Carradine a British Intelligence Agent has been sent to Hong Kong, then onto China to try to get Chao back. However China are aware that he has arrived in Hong Kong and go all out to kill him. With Mao Tse Tung showing an interest, and wanting General Lung Chan to do anything he can to stop Carradine from reaching Chao in China. This story really moves along at a good pace, and it kept my interest throughout. I would definitely recommend this book, it’s worth a read.
