A sweet romance that was a bit more than your typical Harlequin. A daredevil stuntman enticed by two young children to protect them from danger, which leads him to meeting the woman of his dreams. A natural instinct to protect these two, which later turns out to be a guilt reaction from many years ago, changes Sawyer's life completely.
Sophie's distrust of all men disappears quickly when Sawyer demonstrates that some men are actually loving and kind - even when they are angry or frustrated. Sophie has built a wall to hide herself and her children behind, but the Abbott family slowly and carefully causes that to crumble! Gotta say - well worth the read. (I would be very interested to hear what happens with China in the future!)
