Fun stuff in here! Highly recommend.

Most of it requires a bit of prep by parents - cutting shapes from colored paper kind of thing. Nothing complicated.

High praise is due for two of the games in particular:

Beetle Sort -- using images only, sort a group of beetles into two families. The Latin family name is used, and the photos are very close up. This was surprisingly fun for me during the preread, and I'm looking forward to cuddling with my son to categorize creepy-crawlies. The book includes m

Fun book of math things to play with your K-2nd grader, with ideas for extending the play younger and older.

The beetle sorting is interesting even for adults, I think. It's intriguing to hear that we don't give little ones hard enough sorting problems.
